The moment Alda threw the dagger, Ezequiel fired, making her fall on her face.
“No!” Maria screamed. Gavin was lying there in a pool of blood, unconscious. He had come in front while trying to save Maria.
When he did not find Alda beside him, he knew where to find her. But never in his wildest dreams, he ever thought that Alda could be so dangerous to attack someone.
