Dela's POV
"What do you mean you can't find her," I yelled, rage coursing through my body.
"We looked everywhere for her. We tracked her up until the edge of the forest before she disappeared." My guard's eyes were full of fear as he watched me approach him. I grabbed him by his throat, my nails piercing his skin. My lips turned up at the sight of the blood running down my fingers. My aura seeping into him, absorbing his power as my own.
"What did I say would happen if you let her slip through your fingers," I whispered in his ear, my voice full of venom.
