Enzo’s POV

I stomped down to the cells, my boot soles slapping hard enough against the stone to send vibrations ricocheting up the walls and echoing back down the sloping hall.

I’d known we would be outnumbered no matter what. But this? This was unprecedented. Hell, this wouldn’t even be a battle – this would be a massacre.

Unless Scarlett performed some kind of God-damned miracle, we would all die. Because there was no way any of my wolves would bow to Alpha Ryker –

I cut myself off. Maybe I was wrong; maybe they would. I was on my way to see a traitor right now. Sure, he’d only helped the rogues – but that was with no prompting. Maybe with a boot to their necks my other wolves would cave, too.
