Caleb glared at her, even if he couldn’t understand where this question came from. He knew it was serious because of her reaction “Where I find love then that’s my family,” he said honestly and Emma shook her head negatively.

“What if your dad has a good reason for what he is doing, just like how you had a good reason for coming to me as a spy? Will you forgive him?” She needed to be sure that Caleb would one day kill her.
