Megan's feet kept paddling with Ann until she reached the last village. They stop after Anna says that their route will be steep and difficult to travel by bike. Therefore, the two left their bikes to one of the traders who is still Rudo's business partner.
Before Megan and Ann left the merchant's house. Both were given headgear on the forehead which is said to be a shield from attacks by wild animals. Although Megan doesn't really believe it, she still wears it as respect and gratitude.
"The sun is about to set... and in front of it was just a wilderness," Ann said looking at Megan who seemed to exhale her eyes while taking a deep breath.
Megan wears a bag behind her back, just like Ann. Bags made of knitted fabric contain robes that prevent the cold of the night or at times of rain, food and drinks and matches to warm the body after picking up twigs and flashlights that have limited batteries.
Megan and Ann stand at the end of a bridge made of wood. A small river that became the last sign of the region.
"Let's go get Rudo," Megan said holding Ann's hand walking over the bridge. She knew that the two did not know what they were going to face, but she also realized that there was no point in asking for help.
Germany just lost to an ally. The security forces are preoccupied with the revolution that is about to take place and right now Megan has to help Ann find Rudo.
Megan tries to instill in her mind that her journey this time is a slightly tougher and challenging adventure than the scouting activities she used to do with Thomas's best friend who is a soldier. Megan tries to instill in her mind that her journey this time is a slightly tougher and challenging adventure than the scouting activities she used to do with Thomas's best friend who is a soldier.
This isn't Megan's first time exploring the wilderness, but at the time she relied heavily on Thomas and some of the equipment that was certainly sophisticated. A GPS so she could be found looking for a wooden twig for a campfire, a walkie-talkie to communicate with each other when Thomas's best friend caught a fish in the river and an analog camera to capture the moment.
But Megan is aware that none of that can be done at this time. She even just hopes that the afternoon will not change with the night soon.
"How far have we been?" Megan asked, glancing at Ann who read the manual map. If she were in 2010 now, then she would no doubt open Google Maps, but again the situation is different.
Ann stopped stepping, made Megan do the same. "I think we're already here," she said pointing to one part of the map and showing it to Megan. She can read maps, because Rudo often teaches her and practices them together when Rudo takes her to trades elsewhere.
The road is getting rougher and full of rocks and as the evening begins to ingest, Anna advises Megan to stop and rest.
"We just have to keep going down the road and not get into the woods," Ann said sitting on a rock.
Ann's road is a narrow elongated area with no trees. Usually there will be horse-drawn carriages carrying goods or other traders who walk and cycle.
Megan nodded quietly and began collecting small wood and twigs to burn the campfire. She turned off the flashlight to save her battery. "Full moon," Megan murmured, gratefully with the moonlight accompanied by a twinkling star.
If Megan's eyes look at the awe of the sky as if it were bright, then Ann instead shows the look of fear mixed with sadness.
"A full moon is a time when wolves will come out to hunt," Ann says staring at the moon that looks so close to earth.
"Don't worry. We're going to find Rudo," Megan said holding Ann's hand. "I used to be so confused and scared when I lost communication with my father who went to the battlefield against the rebels. It... had to prepare the heart for his loss, but he came back with a big smile." Megan's words made Ann smile and try to be strong.
"Do you miss home and your dad?" Ann asked, staring closely at Megan.
"Always."
After an hour's rest, the two decided to continue their journey in robes to ward off the influx of night breezes that would pierce their skin with a sharp cold.
The steep road makes the side of the cliff, while the other side of the trees try to cover the gap that can destroy Megan and Ann if they miss a step.
But when it comes to a plateau, at the end of the trail there is a large wolf that is clearly visible in the eyes of Megan and Ann, due to the help of moonlight. The two women were fixated on seeing a large wolf that Ann had never even seen that size. Megan, meanwhile, remembers the same shape of the wolf when she visited the Jazmore forest.
◇◇◇
In another place a man stood firmly and shirtless. Its hard jaws, overgrown with several sideburns that are slowed down, as well as the chest and back overgrown with some feathers, although is not dense. The ears are slightly pointed with sharp eyes reddened when staring at the full moon. When the male grins, his fangs look so sharp as his paws. Even though the clawed fingernails are no longer than his fingers. A common change for a Werewolf, when a full moon occurs.
"Sir, they're near Movaro," Perol said, saluting Eden standing at the edge of a towering cliff.
Eden flashed a thin smile. "They're good enough not to get lost." He turned his back on the Beta who did come with him to see the guest from Yagur.
"So what will be done next?" asked Perol who was also shirtless waiting for orders. "Ozo... he wandered around the two women."
Eden turned around with a frown barely noticeable with her bushy eyebrows. "Ozo?" He called for the name of his great guard wolf. A dire wolf can only be owned by an Alpha, while the other Werewolf is just a common wolf.
"Let's take a closer look," Eden says with a nimble movement that is almost impossible for the human eye to see. Werewolves are famous for their speed, especially their jumping skills here and there, even though it's a towering tall tree. Just like Eden and Perol are doing right now.
Eden's eyes, which could see clearly in the darkness like other Werewolves, were now standing on a large tree trunk bowing. Looking at the two women who look confused, as well as frightened when Ozo the Dire wolf gets closer to both.
But Eden's eyes then focused on one of the women who made her sense of smell increase dramatically. Somehow he can inhale the aroma of sandalwood mixed with jasmine that he has never met when meeting with humans.
"Sir," Perol's vibrating voice then forces Eden to turn around.
"What's wrong?" asked Eden flatly.
Not a voice or sentence answer. Perol's finger pointed at the Alpha's forehead. "Golden sign!" he exclaimed excitedly.
Eden was stunned for a while. He then turns to stare at the two women who are now trying to repel Ozo with a stoning. He also remembered that the golden ray marks on the middle forehead of a werewolf will be visible when near his Mate. But he could not be sure of the two women, because it was covered by a piece of cloth or perhaps the Luna--the partner of an Alpha was another woman who was also around him.
Eden's eyes squinted as one of the women recalled him visiting the Jazmore forest with Ozo a few weeks ago. It was raining and a hooded woman approached a well, where Ozo often played there.
"It turned out to be her," Eden murmured, making Perol who now scrunches his forehead.
"My Lord?"
In one long whistling, Eden managed to get Ozo to retreat and leave the two women behind. But Megan's memory is sharp, recalling a whistling she had also heard in the Jazmore forest. She then looked up, but because the tree was too dense and towering, his eyesight was not clear.
Megan, who saw the big wolf figure gone, took the initiative to pull Ann's hand and run on their way.
Unknowingly, a pair of red eyes kept an eye on Megan's every move. Where the woman could hear as if the breeze was breaking through twigs and foliage, instead of thinking that it was someone who jumped in there without fear of falling.
Reach Megan and Anna at the top of the cliff, they then look down from behind the cliff. A light of fire blazing from the torches that were lit. A sign of a residential life that Ann knew wasn't in the area. But to get off, the two crossed a steep road again.
Both Megan and Ann turned to each other and with the determination and courage to help Rudo, the two stepped forward again.
Eden holds his breath for a moment as Megan's back is increasingly lost in the woman's move to descend into the Movaro area. His eyes then glanced towards the moon, a clearly red flash visible with a golden ray on his forehead began to dim. A sign that The Luna began to walk away from him, and he could not carelessly enter the Movaro area, due to his scent that could be sniffed by the pack herd from Yagur.

The roar of Megan's breath is increasingly audible. Her eyes were beaming forward, a light flashing among the trees. Her hand kept holding Ann's hand in the cold of the night."What do you know about this place?" Megan asked with her eyes constantly on alert.Ann came to see the light up ahead. "As far as I'm concerned, it's just a trade route that people don't live in. It's near the Swedish border."Megan then turned to look up at the sky. "It's been a full moon for a few days."Ann flashed a thin smile. "I've heard people say that it's time the moon would shed blood."Megan became gasped to hear it. "What?" She found it a little funny that the moon would shed blood."Rudo has also said that at that time monsters would go out looking for prey, so in the past people were often lost and ... just left a drop of blood," said Ann in a slow tone, but it sounded serious.
Nothing scarier than being cooped up alone in a room that doesn't even know who the owner really is. Megan, who's been locked up for three days, always can't sleep well. She realized that she was in a castle-like building. A place he didn't really think existed.During those three days, especially at night, Megan felt that someone was constantly paying attention to her. What's more, it was the sound of wolf howls that made her curl up in her filter. One thing that also makes Megan wonder is that she was only given water and fruits during her captivity. She did not know why she was being held at the site. But today she is determined to escape and try to find Ann and Rudo. The only gap Megan could use to escape was a window covered by a fairly long curtain.Megan's brain is trying to figure out how long the curtains and height are now. However, it was a little disturbed as soon as the sound of the room doo
The sound of wolf howls was unable to beat the roar of the waves that rocked the cliffs along the fjords of the Movaro region. Megan still freezes silently with what she has just seen, however she can see and feel her torn top. With her hands shaking, s he tried to cover the area of her chest.Yagur looked around, then turned to stare at the still-happening lunar eclipse. He then looked at Megan again and immediately grabbed the woman's body holding her."Sir, it looks like it's from the Alpha Eden pack," Eslor said, approaching Yagur."I know. I'm not going to let Eden be that easy to meet with her," Yagur replied, glancing at Megan at a glance."Command our whole flock to locate Eden and his flock. I'll take Eden away."Like a gust of wind, Yagur then moves away Megan's body by entering a forest area. His running legs seemed to float and were painless as he walked on steep rock
Eden's arrival brings Megan to be welcomed by all the Werewolves and their Mates in the castle owned by the Eden family. They were in human form bowing when Eden climbed the castle steps."Sir, let me clean her body," Silvina said, Mate of Perol who is half human and half Werewolf.Eden nodded briefly. "I'll leave it to you.," he said, leaving Megan's body in a tub made of wood. The tub is in a semicircular place with a hollow roof to get sunlight or the moon to sneak in and the place is at the top of the castle. A place where Eden used to clean himself without anyone having the right to use it.Silvina then calls a mate from another Werewolf to help her. Megan's eyes kept closed despite the flow of water and Silvina's soft touch that cleansed her body. After finishing Megan put on a dress with some layers of fabric to ward off the cold air tonight. Her body was then laid on Eden's bed. A night without a full
Megan had been in Eden's castle for over a week and never had the slightest thought of wandering, other than trying to find a way to escape. She still does not believe in the fate that mentions her as the eternal partner of Eden. Especially considering that Eden is still one type with Yagur. Something that's beyond her senses. Something that looks both dangerous and thrilling every time she imagine it.But Megan has always found it hard to find a way to escape. During the day, Eden often goes with some men who are often referred to as Megan's subordinates. But Megan has to face Silvina and Mate from another Werewolf who is watching her. There was nothing Megan could do but walk around the castle or curl up in her room all day, unless she was called to eat.But today Megan feels different, because Eden has not left the castle since this morning and chose to sit by the room window reading a book. She did not expect that the man also looked like a man in general wh
"The Rogue herd led by Furgo begins an invasion of Movaro's borders. Since Yagur died without an heir, the whole herd split up and made it easier for the Rogue to take over the place," Perol explained to Eden who had just returned with Herol."What is Furgo's purpose? Isn't he powerful enough in the forest area of Reèmor?" Eden asked, who knows clearly about one type of Werewolf, a Rogue who is not bound in a pack or has territory like the Alphas."Reémor clearly wasn't enough even if he controlled the entire forest, but he wanted Movaro to own the castle," Herol replied."Has there been a pack he's bothered with?" Eden asked, not wanting to interfere if Furgo wanted to take over Movaro, who actually had heirs from Yagur's lineage. That would be a matter for both of them, not Eden's business.Perol remembers thinking for a moment. "I don't think so.""All righ
Eden along with Herol and Perol as well as a herd pack of various levels try to find Rogue led by Furgo. He has found traces of the free and wild werewolf."It looks like they stopped here," Herol said entering one of the caves, followed by Eden. Both can see animal bones, burnt wood marks and blood. Shows that the place was once inhabited by Werewolves."It's close to the Dasford residential area isn't it?" Eden asked worried about the safety of the residents. Although Furgo and the other Rogues aim to take Movaro's castle, it is not uncommon for Rogues to act out of control, especially if a full moon appears."Yes, you want to lure him away or finish him off right away?" Herol asked quietly.Eden thought for a moment. "No, I don't want any of our flocks killed. They're wild fighters who are not afraid to die. I'd better meet Furgo first.""All right, I'm going to ask an Omega and some Deltas to stand guard around here," Herol replies, unde
After burning Furgo's body, Eden begins to return to Movaro's castle. Around the castle is also seen smoke billowing because the bodies of Furgo followers or rogues who fight, eventually have to die at the hands of Herol and Werewolf in a Pack led by Eden.Eden then entered the castle alone. Since Yagur's death, he has never seen clearly the contents of the castle. But Eden immediately recalled that it was at this place that Megan had been detained. If only he had been a little late, then his Mate might have perished at the hands of Yagur.Eden traces a passageway that turns out to lead to the basement. At first the Alpha thought that it might be where Yagur kept his captives, but he was wrong. Because the place is neatly arranged. More like a resting room.Eden's eyes were then fixed to the four skulls of wolves affixed to the walls of the castle. One at the very top, while the other three are lined up in parallel. Without thinking about it, Eden knew that t
"Kiter's physique is much different from other Werewolves isn't it?" Currently Eden is enjoying his breakfast with Megan at the back of the castle. A few days ago, they had returned from Movaro and did not bring home Kiter who was unwilling to leave Movaro, rather unwilling to part with Regar."Yes, but Kiter is still like a child his age."Megan looked up at Eden who was seen enjoying the roast in front of her. "Eden... how do you know if Greta's face looks like me?"Megan's question made Eden put down the knife he was holding back down. "Saraz, Luna of Elden. She once met Greta, then saw you some time ago.""Then how do you know that it was Greta who entrusted Kiter to Regar?" asked Megan further."I just guessed it on that part.""Oh, I see.""You think... is Helena probably still alive?" Since from the cave near Rosfjoer waterfall, Megan has not stopped guessing what Helena's current condition is. Is it alive or has it died?"I don't know Megan, but I'll find it for you," Eden ret
"Pay attention to your steps, don't wander around and if you feel exhausted or cold, then please let me know." Eden said that, while tightening the fur coat that had been attached to Megan's body.Megan remained silent while continuing to pay attention to how Eden was preparing for their departure to the cave, where Helena was first discovered.Eden pushed back his body, then looked at Megan from top to bottom. Starting from the fur coat, handkerchief, to the boot that has been worn by the woman."Well, let's set off now," Eden said, glancing sideways. Looking at Perol who will accompany the trip this time.Eden departed for Rosfjoer Waterfall, the nearest location of the cave referred to by Regar. The sky was overcast with snow that began to cover the ground level, leaving Eden two steps behind Megan. Make sure the woman's footsteps are in a safe lane.Megan did not deny the coldness she began to feel. Although, Eden's fur coat is also quite thick. When she looked at the lake on thei
Megan opened her eyes slowly. A beam of light infiltrated the room, through the crack of a window curtain that was not tightly closed. When her consciousness began to fully return, she was surged upon to remember the events of last night.Megan found herself wrapped around a blanket, wearing the rest of the torn clothes. She also remembers how tired she was, from the journey from Nughzal to Eden's treatment last night. Everything becomes one and makes her sleep quite sleepy. It was like a dream, when Eden touched her. Megan felt too pseudo, because she felt it for the first time. Raised by her father who was a soldier, she never had more intimate relationships than a man, more than a kiss. Not wanting to protract in last night's fantasy, Megan decided to head to the bath yesterday while picking up clean clothes that are always available from Mate from the Betas, Gamma and Omega.Megan showered quickly. Afraid Eden could have found her in there and r
Eden looked at the puff of smoke from the top of the cliff. He saw how the blaze devoured a two-story building. It appears that the public gathered to see the incident."My Lord, everything is on fire," Perol said."Surely, the smell of baked carcasses smelled, right?" Eden stared at the fire he had planned. Despite sacrificing a human being, that is the doctor.Eden did not immediately burn down the doctor's house. He made observations and even tried to kill only the Rogue who had become a test process. However, the doctor began to act too late by trying to insert genetics from a Werewolf into a child's body. The children were later identified as orphans, due to the victims of the war. Eden couldn't have imagined that terrible experiment, if it had actually been done."The doctor deserves it. I think he tried to control Rogue's experiment, but it failed. He thought that combining humans and Werewolf would make something that he wanted," Perol rep
Megan arrived safely in Stakhvold. She immediately meets and sees Silvina's condition that can be seated. Although it appears that some bandages wrapped around the woman's body. A sense of sadness mixed with guilt was inevitable in her."How are you, my lady?"Megan's been snatching with her eyes glazed. "I'm fine. Certainly ... it hurts," she said touching Silvina's arm covered with bandages."The rest of the external wounds. Will recover soon, just wait for time," Silvina replied, still smilling at Megan."Get well soon, so I don't get lonely in the castle," Megan replies sincerely."How can you be lonely, isn't Lord Eden always with you?" Silvina said and made Megan squeal her lips."He's also very busy. I'm even came here with Herol." Herol, who was also in the room, immediately smiled silently. Although Megan said she didn't care, but he knew that she was also quite upset that Eden didn't drive her directly. As dusk begins to dawn, Silv
Stakhvold is the area where Silvina is being treated. It is close to Rodzk, one of the largest cities in the Scandinavian country. Megan will only leave with Herol and a Delta member named Nakez to Stakhvold. That's to avoid the attention of Rogues who may be scattered along their way.Stakhvold was inhabited by many dead Werewolf mates. Or even the daughter of an Alpha. The area mingles with humans, making the place like a community settlement in general."I let you go, not because I was completely willing. Something has happened since the night that Silvina was injured. But I'm doing this for the sake of your friendship," Eden said then put a hood on the robe Megan had worn.Megan looked up a bit at Eden. "I'll be right back," she replied.Eden smiled thinly. "Of course. You will come back to me, safely and completely," he said, giving Herol a glimpse.Herol must have clenched his fist with a tense feeling, then nodded briefly as a fulfillm
"I found Luna from Elden," Perol said, approaching Eden, who was on top of the castle tower.Eden turned around. "Where is she now?""Child shelters of war victims. It looks like she's been volunteering all along to help the victims," Perol said."We're leaving this afternoon. Meeting her sooner would be better."Perol nodded quietly. "Besides...." His words were cut off as if hesitant to say so."What's wrong?"Eden asked, catching Perol's face."It looks like the attack in Dasford yesterday was an experiment. They are Rogues who have a special change," Perol explained, making Eden's forehead wrinkled."Do you mean someone deliberately made rogues like that?" Eden asked, analyzing it.Perol's head nodded. "It seems that someone already knows the Werewolves, and they are trying to take advantage of it. I heard there were similar cases, so Alpha Oiris of Nugzhal had requested a meeting."Eden was well aware of the problem whe
Megan's eyes slowly opened, along with her last memory of falling into the river. Surprisingly, she didn't feel her body or clothes were wet. Soon, she was trying to get up and had found herself in the castle room of Eden."How did I get here?" She murmured, then saw next to her already had her sash bag.Megan almost surged in delight, before finally opening the contents of her bag. But the smile immediately faded, as soon as she saw the contents of her bag was empty. The sound of the door was heard and Megan's attention turned to the front. Finding Eden had stood staring at her deeply.Megan immediately hid her bag under the pillow. "Did you bring me here?"Eden sighs first, then begins to step closer to Megan. Sitting on a bed with probing eyes. "Of course. What did you do last night? Play with the water, then sleep by the river?"Megan fell silent. Thinking that maybe Regar took her to the riverbank after falling. "Do you think like
Perol looked at Eden on a cliff. They were watching dasford fishermen start fishing, even before sunrise. It appears that some Deltas are taking part in the boat, as if they were also part of the Dasford community."How are you going to find that?" Perol asked, regarding the words of the witch spirit they met a few days ago.Eden smiled thinly. "That can't be there, is it? An Alpha can never stand being around his Mate."Perol agreed with this in his heart. Not only Alpha, but also Beta and Gamma as it seems. "Should ... We're just looking for a witch?""I'm not going to renege on my promise to Megan," Eden replied looking at Perol.Perol fell silent. He knew how Eden always kept his promise, even against the enemy."All of a sudden I remember a story of the past." Eden began to turn around and step away from the cliff. While behind him is still faithfully followed by Perol."What's that story about?" asked a curious Perol
