2024-10-29 19:42:56“Desmond.” Olivia cried into my chest. Her arms were wrapped around my neck and my arms were wrapped around her lower back, holding her close to me.
One of the goddesses was rubbing my back, another was rubbing hers. I didn’t care about saving face. I cried into Olivia’s arm, finally holding her again. The sparks were there but her scent was dulled by the water. We both were soaking wet.
“I told you he could do it.”
“Yes yes. You told me so. I get it.”
Olivia was shaking and I held her as tight as I thought she could bare. The bump of her stomach pressed against me and I stared to cry in relief all over again.
“Never again, my love. Stop trying to leave me.”
She nodded, not saying a word.
“It’s been chaos without you. Your whole family has been absolute chaos. Your older brother and mother especially. But then add in my parents, my friends, plus our kids. Olivia, you aren’t leaving me alone with those crazy people again.”

My eyes watched Olivia’s face. Her eyes were focused and she was biting her lip. It took a lot of effort not to smile. We were in a familiar position. She was sitting at the top of the porch, while I was a few steps below her, my head resting in her lap. Slowly and carefully, she was shaving the beard that had overgrown in the past few months. Hello Everyone!!First, let me say I appreciate your patience with me! I 100% am fully committed to Alpha Desmond and I intend on finishing it in the next couple weeks here for you all! Let me apologize, for the late uploads and the radio silence.I had actually finished Alpha Desmond near the last time I updated. But when I took my hands off the keyboard I realized, I hated it. It didn’t feel true to the characters. It felt forced and rushed and just wrong to me as both a writer and a reader. These characters are near and dear to my heart and I want it to be genuine. I was frustrated and just burnt out.Mix that with my work, being unable to do anything for two weeks because I had stitches in my hand. It just continued to push me away from the story. I realized once I healed and was able to remedy my day job that I needed a pallet cleanser before I jumped back in, literally throwing 10-15 chapters in the trash that I had finished on Alpha Desmond. ***Olivia’s POV*** I watched Desmond leave and I pulled my shirt back down. My heart felt raw, the emotions that he spilled into me were hard to handle. I knew he had been holding things back since I came back, trying to be my strength but I didn’t realize how much. Hello everyone! I know it's been a minute since I've updated on the things going on. I just wanted to update those who enjoyed this story in particular to a new story I am writing called The Rogue Kings.
