Arianna:

“Are you sure that she wouldn’t need…?”

“Arianna, mom and Yelena are here, they would help me if I need anything,” Irina said, stopping me. “Go and have fun, okay?”

Kai had her son, Alex, in his arms while she had Alina in hers. He smiled as he looked at her, and I couldn’t help but find my chest swelling as I knew that he was building something with the woman that he wanted to be with.

“My phone is on if you need anything…”

“We won’t.” Kai said, and I glared at him. He winked at me as Dean wrapped his arm around my waist. “Your mate is going crazy,”

“Nothing new there,” he said, teasing me. I glared at him before playfully slapping his chest. He smirked and leaned in to kiss my temple, making my heart swell. “Ready?”

I nodded in response and he smiled before nodding at Kai and Irina to go. He tightened his arm around me, and I couldn’t help but find myself frowning as my chest ached. He put his finger under my chin and made me look at him. “You know that we have to break th

Dean: I watched as Arianna signed the paper, claiming her own business line. Her heart raced as she did, and I couldn’t help but smile at the fact that she at least had something that was hers. It was something that we tended to do. Securing our Ivanov women. And though it wasn’t common in our world. Normally, the other families would deprive their women of what they had, believing that they would control them this way. It wasn’t the state with our family. We choose to want our women strong and independent as we know that they are the continuation of our family. Regardless of what others thought, they raised our children and we aimed to have them growing up strong and confident. The one way that would happen is for their mothers to reflect that as a first notice. And now, I was comfortable that no matter what happened, she would have something that would be securing her. And though she wasn’t going to need anything as long as I lived, I had to ensure that she had her things if anyth

Arianna: I woke up in Dean’s arms. His chest rose and fell with each breath that he took, and I couldn’t help but smile as his eyes met mine. The night before played in my head as I caught sight of the mark that was on his neck, and I couldn’t help but find myself blushing at the memory. Flashback: I grinded against Dean’s lap, my body heating up as my wolf made herself known. My heart raced against my ribcage and Dean wrapped his arms around my waist, thrusting against me. He sat up being inside me, and I couldn’t help the whimper that escaped my lips as my canines grew. His eyes were fixed on mine, before he nodded as he moved his neck. His eyes were a deep shade of golden and I knew that mine were too. “I love you,” he whispered before kissing my forehead as he pushed himself inside me, helping me reach my own end before I dug my canines deep inside his neck. He growled, riding me off as I tightened my grip around his neck, my whimper vibrated on his neck and a low growl es

Mariana: I paced through the pack’s grounds as my chest ached. The fact that I knew that my son wasn’t by my side and instead was at the enemy’s place was something that made me rage. It was bad enough that I was disconnected from him as my son. Our meeting wasn’t the one that I pictured, and I couldn’t blame him. I raised that bitch of a girl only for her to backstab me the way that she did. To say the least, I covered up for her when I found out that she was pregnant. I could have given her a hard time, but that was what I got for doing favors for things like her. “You have been pacing for the past hour,” Lorenzo said, approaching me. I stopped and looked down at my feet. Regardless of everything, and regardless of the facts, I knew that the one thing that was true about us was our relationship. He put his hand on my shoulder as he stood behind me before gently pulling me to him. He wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin against my shoulder and I closed my eyes, allo

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 108

Dean: I wrapped my arms around my mate from the back as I saw her looking at what the maid was making in the kitchen. The fact that she was surprised that I hired a maid to tend to her basic needs, like cooking, cleaning, and laundry took her by surprise, but I didn’t plan on having her do anything. After marking her as mine, I just wanted her to relax. I kissed the mark on her neck, making her hiss before she put her hand on my cheek. “That hurt,” she said, and I purred before licking the area gently, numbing it for her with my saliva. She moved her neck to the side, giving me better access, and I kissed her cheek again. “You should be resting, baby girl.” I said, resting my chin against her shoulder, and she shrugged. “I’m fine, Dean.” She said, turning around to face me. “I came to cook something for you, but it seems to me that you were already ready with that part.” She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist, pulling her closer as my body towe

Arianna: I woke up to Dean running his finger over my shoulder. I was wearing his shirt, and he was wearing a pair of sweatpants as I lay, curled up on his chest. His eyes met mine and I couldn’t help but find myself smiling at the genuine fact that he was awake and yet he chose not to wake me up. “You keep letting me sleep in,” I teased, and he smiled. “You wake up at least ten times a night at home to tend to Alina, might as well get the rest that you need now.” He said, making my heart swell. His eyes were gentle on mine and I could tell that he was more than a little relaxed. His words from last night played in my head, and I couldn’t help but find myself smiling at the fact that I knew that he felt safe and content enough to open up to me, to drop his walls and barriers, and just be himself. It was something that I wouldn’t have pictured or believed if they paid me when we first met. And the idea of the two of us being together was so surreal at the time that I wouldn’t hav

Dean: “Well, at least I know that you weren’t alone.” I said, smiling at my mate as I saw her entering the suite. She smiled and I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her to my chest as both she and Viktor walked inside. The fact that I knew that she was safe was the one reason why I didn’t go after her. I could feel her being relaxed and content, and that was something that gave me a sense of contentment, assurance, and relaxation that I didn’t think my wolf would feel. The fact that we were connected in a way that I never pictured possible was something that I wouldn’t deny. It was like everything fit in its place and that this was how everything was meant to be to begin with, and though I knew that in a way, it could be the reality of things, I still couldn’t believe that I was lucky enough to feel it. “I ran into her in the lobby and the two of us decided to have breakfast,” Viktor said, and I smiled and nodded. The fact that the two of them came to actually interact or tal

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 111

Arianna: “Hi, baby,” I smiled, carrying my daughter in my arms. She giggled and laid her head on my chest before I kissed the crown of her head. “Thank you, Irina.” I said, smiling at the woman. The fact that she was willing to accept taking care of my daughter, regardless of having her own son to take care of was something that I was thankful for, especially considering the fact that I knew how tiring it was to take care of one child, let alone two. “She is my niece, Arianna, you don’t have to thank me.” She said, and I smiled. Kai wrapped his arm around Irina, pulling her to his chest, and though the pair claim that they are nothing ‘official’, I could tell that they were. The man was doing his best to win her over, and though I knew that things were still fresh between her and her ex, I could tell that she was still leaning toward the idea of being with Kai. Elijah didn’t seem to like it though, and I knew that he wanted to do a lot about it. The one thing that was stopping him

Dean: “Give me one good reason not to shoot your head right now.” I said, glaring at Elijah. His eyes widened as his heart raced and I grabbed him by his neck. The fact that he dared to try taking advantage of the fact that I wasn’t around to try hurting my sister was something that angered me, and the fact that she was actually allowing Ray to be by his side was another thing. “She was neglecting my son for your daughter…” I banged the man’s head against the wall behind him and Ray, who was in his crib, screamed at the loudness of the sound. “Get the child out of here,” I said, looking at Viktor over my shoulder, and he walked toward the crib where my nephew was crying, clearly startled. “He is my son, and I have every right…” “You have zero rights to speak, do you fucking understand?” I asked, tightening my grip around his neck. His eyes widened and he nodded gulping as Viktor closed the door. “Did you pump your fucking dick when you threatened my sister?” “Alpha…” “Do no

“You called for me,” the Alpha asked, entering the hotel. Arianna looked at him and he smiled before opening his arms for her. She looked at her mate for a second before taking a step toward the Alpha. He hugged her tightly before pulling away to shake the Alpha’s hand. “You need not worry about me trying to steal your mate, Alpha Dean.” He said, looking down at the woman as she walked back to her mate. “She wouldn’t spare me a second glance anyway.” Arianna laughed and ran her finger over her mate’s chest as he wrapped his arm around her. “How are you, Alpha Alessandro?” “I am well, Alpha. However, I am more or less curious as to why you would call me for a meeting in Vegas when we could have met in either my house or yours.” He said, raising an eyebrow at the Alpha. “Lucius is back.” Arianna said, and the man’s face dropped. “You’ve heard the rumors.” He said, and she nodded. “Do you believe them?” “I have no reason not to.” She said, taking a step closer as she showed him her

  • Alpha Dean   Epilogue

“The body isn’t here.” Arianna said, looking at Alpha Dean who frowned in confusion. The man had followed her to ensure that she was okay, but the last thing that he expected to hear was that the body of his enemy or more specifically, her mother, wasn’t there. “Arianna…” “We are being played, but by who, why, I don’t know.” She said, her voice cold. The Alpha knew that his mate was speaking out of anger and torment. The pain that she was feeling was one that she did not understand, and judging by Lyov’s expression, he felt the same way. “Mariana?” Alpha Kai asked, shaking his head in question. “She never arrived with the Alpha and yet her scent…” “As I said, we are being played.” Arianna said, taking a step back to hide her tears. The Alpha, her mate, grabbed her hand, stopping her before pulling her to his chest. “I know that it hurts…” “You don’t.” She said, her voice coming out colder than she intended for it to. His eyes dropped to the ground but she took a deep breath. “Don

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 137

Dean: I watched as Arianna sat on the couch, facing her mother whose eyes met mine for a second. I had to fight back, glaring at the woman as I reminded myself of the fact that she might have been, most likely, forced into staying away from her daughter. I could see it in her eyes when Arianna looked at her, and I could tell that things ended up taking a turn that she did not want for them. However, there was nothing that we could do about it right now. We were going to have to deal with what we had the way that we had them, and one way or the other, we were going to have to be able to cross the mountains together the way that we climbed them. “You have ten minutes to explain to me the basics of what I need to know.” Arianna said, and I shook my head at my mate, knowing that she was having the impatience of a toddler. “Because believe me right now, if I am sitting in front of you, it is because of my mate. However, if it were up to me, I would have been in my bedroom alongside my d

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 136

Arianna: I laid on our bed as Dean entered the room. “I really don’t want you telling me to hear her out first, Dean.” I said, not bothering to raise my head from the pillow. The two of us still had blood on our hands and clothes, and I knew that we were going to need to change the sheets before bed. But at this point, I didn’t care. I just wanted to lay in bed for a while. “I didn’t come to tell you anything, malyshka.” He said, wrapping his arm around me as he got on bed behind me. He pulled me toward his chest and a sob escaped my lips before I could stop it. The thing was, at this point, regardless of everything, I was grieving. I was grieving for the man that I called father for years. The man has abused me more than anyone could have, mentally, I mean, and yet, I knew no one but him. I lost my mother to find out that she was alive, seeming to be by our side for so long and yet, not once did she bother to make an appearance. The man that took her away from me was the one fam

Gabriella: I watched as Arianna looked at me, trying to process whether or not I was really there. It was a habit that she had when she was younger; therefore, I wasn’t really surprised when I saw that she was frightened and worried. “Do you want to drink anything, Gabriella?” Lyov asked, and I shook my head. The fact that I saw the man with his wife and son was something that I was thankful for. I knew that he missed a lot as he looked for me. “I am fine, Lyov.” I said, and Arianna shook her head. “You couldn’t have been alive through all this time and yet I’ve never noticed you. The two of us know the number of times that we moved around. Hell, Lorenzo was sure to never have us staying in one place for more than…” “Do you really believe that I am a lookalike that looks exactly like your mother, knows you by heart…” “You know nothing about who I am, what I am, or about me.” Arianna said, and I smiled. “I know that you have a heart of gold, and I know very well that you chose y

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 134

Dean: I growled as I ordered my pack members to attack the man who dared call himself Alpha on my grounds. The man didn’t know what he was getting himself into, but I was more than a little sure that he was getting ready for more trouble than he could afford. “I take it that you are taking the habit of hiding behind your mate.” Lorenzo said, and I chuckled. The man was taunting both Arianna and I, but what he didn’t understand was that I was not going to allow him to get between my mate and I. However, judging by how Lyov was looking at the woman, I doubted that she was ONLY a lookalike, and considering the fact that even Arianna, despite not wanting to admit it, didn’t shoot the woman, then something was most likely up. “And I believe that you really don’t know who you are messing with; but then again, I doubt that you ever knew that.” I said, and he growled. The man believed that he could taunt my mate in front of me, but I was going to be sure that I taught him a lesson that he

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 133

Arianna: I froze, staring at my mother for a second too long before shaking my head. She wasn’t alive, this was just a game that Lorenzo was playing. He wouldn’t have been able to cheat on the mating bond with Mariana throughout this whole time when she was still alive. I knew that he wouldn’t. “Arianna…” “You are playing a very bad game, Lorenzo.” I said, stopping Lyov from saying a word. The idea and fact that I knew that he would easily try telling me against this was something that I couldn’t deny. But I knew for fact that he was just as delusional. The woman died, I saw the building burning with her inside it. “Am I, child?” He asked, knowing that he was testing me. “Do you really believe that I am playing a game?” “She died.” I stated, my voice becoming colder than it ever was. He chuckled and pushed her in front of us. Lyov growled, and both Yaroslav and Viktor tensed. Yelena, who stood a few steps away from her mate, froze, looking down at the woman before whispering. ‘

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 132

Dean: “I want the pack ready, and for the humans to go inside. Protect the kids and I want no one who isn’t ready to fight to go out.” I said, speaking to the pack’s headmistress. She and the other maids were trained for such fights, and I knew that they would be having both Alina and Ray with them. “Until I call you, you stay in the underground tunnels. And if things backfire, you know what to do.” “Yes, Alpha.” She said, and I nodded. My one concern right now was my sister, but I wasn’t dumb, she was in the basement, away from all of this, and hidden. Needless to say, IF things did backfire, then I doubted that she would be affected. If anything, she might end up getting a reward for what she did. “Go,” I said, looking at my daughter for a second. My heart ached at the fact that they were to run with her being this young, but right now, I knew that we were not going to have another option. I ran my finger over Ray’s hair, the guilt that I felt for him was one that I couldn’t des

  • Alpha Dean   Chapter 131

Arianna: I frowned as I took a deep breath, processing that I was in a room that I didn’t recognize. My heart raced, and I tried sitting up only to find myself cuffed to the bed that I was laying on. The memories of Lorenzo filled my head, and noticing that I couldn’t see Kai, I couldn’t help but feel like my heart was going to burst at how fast it was beating. “Kai?” I called, looking around frantically. “Hey, easy,” Dean’s voice echoed through the room and I growled, not wanting this to be another mind game from Lorenzo. The man has put me through enough torment to get me to process that he wanted me to kill my mate, and that wasn’t something that I wanted. “For the last fucking time, Lorenzo, I am not going to kill him.” I said, and Dean frowned in confusion before he took a deep breath. “Lorenzo is not here, malyshka.” “As if I would be falling for that lie again,” I said, and the man frowned. “What has he put you through, baby girl?” He asked, looking me in the eye, and I
