His dark eyes bore into my own, the closeness relaxing me, his earthy scent infiltrating my mind, I felt hazy, had this asshole marked me, he said he wouldn’t. I move my hands up to feel my neck and collarbone but there is nothing different and I watch a small smile play on his lips.

“How?” I ask him through the open mind link

“We are mates” its all he says but he doesn’t take his eyes off of mine

“But we haven’t, you haven’t…”

He cuts me off “It’s because of who you are!”

I let his words sink in and squirm slightly as the doctor starts stitching me up, it was more painful than I thought it would be and Daryl slides his hand across the bed towards me which I grab with my one good hand and squeeze it hard, letting my nails sink into his skin. He didn’t recoil, he didn’t even react other than continuing to stare into my own eyes, I felt like he was looking into my soul, almost searching for something.

“All done” the doctor stands back wi

Beta Jax manages to keep me entertained for most of the day, he left me alone in the library, without locking me in. He took me out for dinner, he even introduced me to his mate, Sam, however I still couldn’t get over the feeling of being watched. It was late and he plated me up some supper. As the day had gone on, I had become more and more jumpy. It was no longer a feeling, I knew I was being watched. Jax called my name, which made me jump for the hundredth time and he looks at me suspiciously “What is going on? That’s not the first time you’ve jumped today” I plead innocence, “I’m just nervous that’s all, loud noises use to have me on edge at Black night”. Jax accepts my answer but I knew he wasn’t convinced and he continued to watch me as I ate the fruit medley he gave me “At least you’re eating a bit more, how’s your thumb? Fancy doing some more training tomorrow?” I looked at my thumb and wiggled it, it had definitely healed, not as quic

Hayden follows my eyes and looks up at the stained glass window and looks confused, he threw the table over and grabbed the chair I was on, dragging me across the ground by my foot. “Fucking whore is communicating with him” he stands over me and rips the jumper and tshirt I’m wearing exposing my chest and searches me, I assume he was looking for a mark. I watch him glance down to my scarred nipple and he laughs. “Who is going to want you anyway” and he walks away, slamming a door shut and once again followed by the familiar sound of a lock. Daryl continued to talk to me through mind link, he knew something was wrong and wasn't happy when I wouldn't tell him. My jaw was swollen and extremely painful as well as my left eye, I was freezing cold after having my clothes ripped apart. He promised he was nearby but they needed to access the situation. I was trying hard not to cry, I had to keep it together. No matter how hard I tried, I could not free myself from these bond

I had to spend a few days in the hospital against my will, Daryl would spend most of the days with me but he also had pack stuff to do and if he couldn’t be with me, he ordered his Gamma to watch me as they still hadn’t found Jax to confirm if he is dead or not. I didn't like to think about, Jax had done so much for me. On the third day, he came in and asked the Gamma outside to speak, they both stood outside whispering and I could feel an overwhelming sense of worry but it wasn’t me this time. Daryl stepped back into the room whilst the Gamma left, he sighs as he sits on the bed next to my feet “They really want you Ashley” “Why?” “Because of who you are” “I still don’t know what that means?” Daryl stares into my eyes “That mark on your lower back, it makes you Royalty, the last one of your kind. You are stronger than you realise and more powerful than you know. Being linked to you makes your mate powerful too” I stare at him in disbelief “No, that is not possible” I climb out o

“I know Ashley, he will be okay, it will take time but he will be okay”. I continue to sob into Daryl’s chest, Beta Jax had been hurt because of me and if I had never met Daryl he wouldn’t be in the hospital now. “Stop thinking like that, he did what any Beta would do and that was to protect his Luna” The word Luna made me pull away from him “I’m not a Luna”, I try to control my voice yet there was still a slight wobble there. “Yes you are, you are the Luna of Crescent pack” he glares at me, the same glare that always made me feel tiny. I take the back pack from him and go into the bathroom to get dressed, thankfully he had packed a sweatshirt and some joggers this time. Coming out the bathroom, I catch a glimpse of my face in the mirror, most of the swelling had gone and my bruises were already turning to that old green yellow colour but the sight of me was disgusting. “Better” his gravel voice is low, I don’t want to look at him, I j

My words had hit him hard, but I didn’t care, he had marked me against my will. When I woke his arm was wrapped around me as usual and although it brought me a tiny bit of comfort, I didn’t want it and climbed out of bed, he doesn’t wake and I decide to go and see Beta Jax. I change quickly out of the ripped sweatshirt and joggers and pull on some fresh clothes, covering up the horrible mark that sat on my shoulder. When I glance out the window, the rain was falling thick and fast and I find an umbrella in Daryl’s cupboard. Creeping out the house was easy, no one was about, no guards on the doors and I was thankful, no doubt they would have woken Daryl as soon as they saw me. Hurrying across the ground and into the hospital, the nurse looks alarmed to see me and asks if everything was all right “Can I see Beta Jax?” “Of course” and she leads the way through the small pack hospital. I see him through the window before the nurse lets me in his room, he

Continuing to keep my mouth shut, I close my eyes and let him continue to wash my hair, I was half expecting him to try it on with me yet he never did and I kind of respected him for that. I’m not sure how many other men would do the same.“Feeling better?” he whispers in my ear.Yes I did but I wasn’t going to tell him“Still giving me the silent treatment” he adjusts himself and I feel it, his length pressed against me, thankfully it wasn’t hard and it makes me stand up quickly, trying to get away I slip and Daryl catches me, when I try to pull away from him, he looks hurt. Right now I would rather be injured than be with this man. As soon as I think it, he lets go and I remember him saying that he could feel and hear my thoughts.Daryl climbs out the bath, grabs a towel from the rail and walks out the bathroom, leaving me standing, alone. Grabbing the other towel I wrap it around me, I had no idea if there was

“Put me down” I beg him, tears streaming from my eyes but he keeps walking. I try punching him in the back over and over but he doesn’t even react “Please” I beg one final time and he finally speaks“You are injured, we need to get you checked out”He continued walking with me draped over his shoulder before throwing me into the back of a car “To the hospital” he mutters to someone as he climbs in next to me"Sam" I whimper as he settles next to me"If she had done her job properly then she wouldn't be dead right now"I let the tears flow thick and fast, i had finally made a friend and she had already been taken away from me. “Where are we going?”Beta Jax smiles at me, his eyes dark “The human hospital” he continued to ignore my tears "And don't even think about contacting Daryl"I glance at the driver, who says nothing, he must have heard Beta Jax but as I

As we step inside the cabin, I look around at the beautiful layout, it was definitely cosy with the blankets hanging on the sofas and small fireplace in the corner and the low ceiling beams.“Whose house is this?” I was curious, it wasn’t a place Daryl had taken me to before yet I definitely liked it. It was small and cosy, yet at the same time it seemed spacious. Framed photo's hung on the walls, many of people I did not even recognise but the ones of Jordan as a child were obvious. She looked the exact same.“This is my house”. Jordan tells me to make myself comfortable because we will probably be here for a few hours and she reluctantly agrees to show me some defence stances. Helping her to move the furniture and clear the space she shows me a few different moves and helps me with the correct formation. After a few trips and stumbles she tells me that I am getting the hang of it much quicker than other she wolves that she had tau

A few months has passed since all the craziness with Lucian. Things had settled down massively, well, apart from being thrown into motherhood and raising triplets. I was just glad I wasn’t doing it on my own.Daryl was still getting used to having a smaller pack. Although he had already been out trying to recruit other packs that were smaller than ours. Some had accepted whereas others had told him where to go. The pack was still much smaller than the average wolf pack with less than a hundred people now after many had lost their lives in the fight against my brother, but he was certain he would make it great again. After all, he really wanted to pass on an almighty pack to Daryl Junior, the eldest of the triplets. In just a few months the three of them had grown quite quickly, instead of being like three-month-olds, they looked more like eighteen month olds and certainly liked to keep me busy and on my toes, especially since they were already walking and running. I assumed they were

More bullets come as I keep low, the stench of Lucian’s blood filling the air as he hovers above me. With each bullet, I am splattered in his blood, but it continues to do little more than slow him down.“You have not learnt a thing!” he roars at me as his claws wrap around my neck, lifting me from the ground.I should have been afraid, scared for my own life as I faced death when he suddenly stills. My feet dangling in the air at least ten inches from the ground. His deep amber eyes staring into mine, but he was quiet, no sound was coming from Lucian and yet everyone around us was yelling. His claws pierced the skin of my neck, my own blood trickling down over my cool skin as I watched Lucian’s nostrils flare. He was enjoying my scent, like it was something he had been longing for. This was not in my plan. His teeth sink into my shoulder as I let out a scream, and I see people charging towards Lucian. Daryl was shouting out something about protecting the Luna.Lucian’s jaw refuses to

“I will stop this.” I try to reassure the tiny beast in my arms, but I still didn’t know if I could even kill him, if it was even possible.“She will never be yours!” Lucian’s voice howls around us making Natasha’s little beast cling to me harder. Her tiny claws piercing my skin as they dug into me, her body trembling as his voice echoes around us.“Drop the spell.” I whisper to the small beast. Lucian was using her to put the spell around the dungeons, to stop others from getting any closer, but she was still a baby, could she even understand what I was saying? Could my reassurance be enough? Her small furry body continues to tremble against mine until it suddenly stops, momentarily scaring the crap out of me. When I hear soft snuffles coming from her and gently turn her head. She had fallen asleep on me. She had gone from a terrified little beast to one in a deep sleep, she had needed me so much more than I had ever known, and I feel a shift inside of me. The need to protect her, no

“It’s not that simple is it. I may have some magical abilities, but he still has years over me. Years of training, years of knowledge, years of planning what he calls his redemption.”“But there is something he possibly didn’t account for. A mother’s love, a mate’s love. The fact that a whole pack will be right behind you.”It just didn’t seem true. Maybe I had been looking at this all wrong and it wasn’t just my fight anymore.“Then how am I supposed to make myself stronger?”“You already know Ash, look at the things you have been capable of. Personally, I don’t think you give yourself enough credit.”I was completely soaked from the heavy rain as I stared up into his amber eyes, the blue flecks shining brightly through the storm. It wasn’t just me that had changed but it seemed like he had too. His once sulky and moody self had mellowed out.“What ever happens Ash, you have three babies that need you.”I slowly bob my head, he was right, but I had still left them to check on my best

No one stops me, no one even comes after me as I race through the forest towards her house. She had to be here, it was where it had all started. As I break out of the forest, I see it, her small house sitting on the opposite side of the road. A trail of blood leading up the few steps as the door sat open. Anyone could walk in here, anything could have found her.Creeping towards the house, I knew the trail of blood belonged to her. It was dry though and had been sat here for a while, but it didn't remove her scent.“Tasha?” I call out her name as I step in through the front door, hoping for some kind of response but I was met with silence and what was worse is the trail of blood ended in the middle of the room. There was nothing, no body, no pool of dried red, but more importantly there was no sound. The floorboards didn’t creak like I was used to, no weird smell from all the herbal teas she had scattered around.“Can you hear her?” I mutter to Reaper. I didn’t even know why I was ask

The omega keeps her head low, not speaking as she remained in the room. She was our biggest risk right now; she was the only one to know that I had had a third baby and I couldn’t have her revealing that information, not to anyone.“You can’t say anything!” I plead with her, hoping that she would understand.“They need to be checked over.” She mumbles back at me and Daryl shakes his head“Kiera, you cannot tell anyone, you cannot share the news of Ash having a third child. Do you understand?” He was using his Alpha tone, a tone that I was only to familiar with. The omega gulps, her eyes wide as she slowly nods her head.“I need you to say it Kiera!”“I won’t tell anyone, but how are you going to hide her, what if she is a poorly pup?”Daryl looks between me and the omega as I gently rock our little girl.“Kiera, you will become Ashley’s personal maid. You will do nothing else in the house except for helping Ash and tending to the children and monitoring any changes in them!”“But the

“For you!” Lucian punches the stone wall of his cell, splitting the skin on his knuckles which heals instantly.“I don’t understand”“Of course you don’t sister.” He laughs manically as he tries to pull the bars apart. I was glad Daryl had reinforced them.“You weren’t to know I was going to have children.”He looks at me from the corner of his eye. I was so stupid, I had told him of the vision, the one where I was left alone with twins, the one where Daryl was not in the picture. How could I have been so stupid?“You told me that not all visions were correct that some were just created in my own mind!”“Yes, but I saw that vision too, sister. Getting into your head was much easier than you trying to get into mine. Any time your wolf was dormant, it left an opening. A chance for me to see everything!”“Just kill him Ash” Daryl links me"Whicjh is why you wanted Amber to trap me?"He starts clapping."About time you figured that out."“You would never have found me without Daryl!” I ye

The omega hands her to me, she was much smaller than the boys with tufts of dark hair that matched Daryl’s, bright amber eyes peeping out under her eyelids.I still didn’t understand, the doctor had shown me the monitor, pointed out the two boys, how could he have missed a third baby or even a third heartbeat.Silent tears run down my face as I look at the three of them, how could I protect them? How could I protect my daughter from my brother? He was so set on taking her.“You did well.” The omega smiles at me as she drapes something over my legs, but I glance at the door. I had a bad feeling growing in the pit of my stomach.“He’s coming.” I mutter. There is fear on the omegas face as her eyes widen and her body stills.“You’re scared of him?”“Every omega is.” She sits next to me.“You know I’m not talking about Daryl, don’t you?”She nods her head and mutters Lucian’s name back to me.“What did he do to you?”He didn’t have anything to do with the omegas.“You don’t know?” she que

It was strange after experiencing Amber's world!Being able to run through Lucian’s mind with his beast chasing me was something I had never considered happening, nor did I think it was even possible and yet here I am. To be in someone’s mind was almost disgusting, you never know what they might be hiding and it was apparent that Lucian had been hiding alot.I had never bothered to ask the name of his beast, but something tells me it’s up there like mine. Reaper, another name for death and she certainly did have a dark side.“Tell me where she is!” I scream as I continue to run.“Give us your daughter!”“I have already told Lucian, they are boys, no females.”“You lie! I can smell it. You are carrying a girl!”Here I had no bump, if anything my stomach was flatter than flat. Was this how Lucian really saw me?He chases me through the greyness of Lucians mind. There was no colour, like he only saw things a certain way. Anytime I get a chance to grab something to throw, I do. Lucian con
