Aiden and April walked into the cozy restaurant, the warm ambiance and soft lighting creating a comfortable atmosphere. They settled at a small table near the window, with a view of the bustling street outside. A waiter approached them with menus, and they quickly scanned the options.

“I think I’ll go for the pasta,” April said, glancing up from the menu. “What about you?”

Aiden smirked, leaning back in his chair. “I’m thinking steak. Haven’t had a good one in a while.”

April smiled, nodding. “That sounds good. We deserve to treat ourselves, right?”

Aiden chuckled. “Absolutely. We’ve been through a lot lately. It’s nice to just relax for a bit.”

They placed their orders, and as the waiter walked away, April leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand. “You know, it’s been a while since we did something like this. Just... enjoy a meal without the chaos.”

Aiden’s smile softened. “Yeah, it feels good. Sometimes I forget what normal feels like.”
