Chapter 96

Daisy drew up her knee to to chest and hugged it, she began rocking herself, unable to stop worrying. But then, Lady Burgundy asked her a very uncomfortable question.

"Tell me, Daisy, Do you love Damon? Do you love my son as much as he loves you? Do you?" The woman tilted her chin for her to meet her gaze until they are both staring at each other eyeball to eyeball.

Daisy cut the contact almost immediately. She doesn't know how to answer such question.

"Ma'am, I have headache. I think I need to rest" She said instead.

Lady Burgundy smiled and get up from her bed, "It's fine, you have all the time to rest" She smiled like heavens will open down to rain.
