As Damien's hand connected to Ariel's face, she suddenly found herself falling backward into the dark abyss that she never noticed was behind her. She suddenly snapped awake. It seems it was all a dream all along. She was very disoriented as she tried to get off her bed.Her first attempt had her tumbling off the bed in a pathetic roll. As soon as she landed on the ground, she heard a glass shatter. Her mind was immediately cleared as she felt a sharp pain in her leg. Layla smiled to herself. There was joy in her heart. Their plan of long ago was blossoming and almost close to succeeding. Who would have thought that it would?
