“ Carter, wait” Thalia’s spine stiffened when Carter pushed her down on the bed, startled she looked at him but couldn’t hold that gaze for any longer. There was so much anger in those eyes that it burned her skin, she had done not a thing wrong .. that was what she believed all along and that was her only straw, her only belief that held her together against everything and everyone. The marks on her body were enough to make her look like a sinner and those who saw her, knew her believed it.. but Thalia always had a firm belief, that she never wronged anyone, the curse that she got was simply unethical and she didn’t deserve to suffer like this yet now all her credence and faith was being blown up into smithereens.
