I don’t think they’re related anymore, but I think Ana’s mother and his father were working together on the same team, so to speak. The boys’ mother was Ana’s stepfather’s, Vladimir’s sister. Ana and Caius aren’t blood relatives, so that’s probably why it’s ok that they’re mates. No relation.
