Chapter 37

Allison was frozen in fear. She didn't know what Jensen's plans were. He had already read the message before he sat her on his tailgate so why did he want her to read it out loud now?

Jensen was getting angry when Allison wouldn't read the text or respond. He hated feeling this way towards her and he knew that it wasn't even her fault.

Jensen couldn't control his anger and he slammed his hand down on the tailgate to get Allison's attention. Allison flinched because of the noise and fear that Jensen was going to hit her.

After seeing how Allison reacted to him just then Jensen shook head, rubbed the back of his neck and walked to the other side of the read and squatted down. As he was looking down at the pavement he ran his fingers through his hair and rubbed his face in frustration.

Jensen hadn't even noticed that Allison had gotten down off of his truck and got in her own car until he heard the loud rumble of the motor start up in her sports car.
