Chapter 30

Jensen stopped scrolling when he saw his old text message to Allison from a few years ago. Why did he keep those messages? He thought too himself. Just before he went to delete the conversation he decided to click on it and send one last text.

Allison had her head down on her desk because she was feeling sick from the events earlier that morning. All of a sudden her phone buzzed in her pocket startling her.

It was a text from her mom. She had let Allison know that the hood of the car had been fixed and she wanted to know if Allison was okay with Chinese takeout for dinner.

Allison smiled and thanked her mother for fixing her car and agreed that Chinese sounded good. Allison then turned off her phone and put it in her backpack.

Jensen was anxiously staring at his phone hoping Allison would text back soon. When she didn't he shoved his phone in his pocket and tried to forget about everything.
