Meeting

"Where did you guys meet" my mum's eyes held me in place.

"Well, I met him at an event where I covered their photographs, a charity event. Those sorts of stuffs" I mumbled with a low voice.

"Oh" was her only response. She didn't push the matter further because she knew I wasn't finding it easy to talk. "Go freshen up, you're exhausted.

My sleep is peaceful, the most peaceful night rest I have had in a really long while and what makes it even better is that I was given the Saturday off, So, I slept in. I intend to maximise this relaxation time I've gotten. "A trip to the park would be nice" my smile widens at the thought. It has been a while since I did that.

With that thought in mind I move towards the bathroom to take a warm shower. My reflection in the mirror is horrible. I look like a raccoon.
