Jody didn't know what came over her when she said that to Phil.

She didn't go around having one-night stands, but she considered making an exception.

For Phil.

But why? It's not like she was desperate. Men constantly asked her out on dates, so she had plenty of options in her world.

So why Phil?

She knew for a fact that it wasn't about the money he had or how good-looking he was. She couldn't care less. She had her career planned out and strived to be a successful and independent woman. Someone she never got to be when living under her father's roof. The control he had on her and her sisters was unbearable.

She was strangely attracted to Phil. There was something primal about him she liked. It made her want his hands all over her body.

Jody frowned as she remembered Phil was supposed to be leaving tonight. She didn't anticipate him to come back anytime soon. They lived nowhere near each other, either.

So that means she could lose the chance to be with him forever, and that simply won'

Phil held his breath, taking it all in. He could feel his self-control slowly withering away, and his jeans tightened as he stared at her body.Sexy, voluptuous little thing she was.She was wearing a pair of lace underwear and a bra that she must've worn to seduce him. Phil knew that for a fact."You really are trouble, huh?" Phil walked closer."You should've known," Jody said."I suggest you leave, little girl, before you get hurt," Phil said.Jody pressed her body against his. "I told you, I am no little girl, so stop calling me that. Or else, I will start calling you my sugar daddy again." Jody grinned. She gasped in surprise as Phil suddenly reached behind her and cupped her perfectly round buttcheek."I'm not your Daddy, little bird," his voice was deeper when it was so close to her ear, and she let out a breathless whimper when he squeezed her ass. He nibbled on her earlobe, whispering: "If you stick around, I will break your wings.""Promises, promises," Jody whispered. Fuck

So the big boy loved to play rough, huh?Jody grinned as she watched Phil putting his pants back on. They had sex like animals and after he was done with her, he looked almost angry, which seemed funny to her. What a weird guy!"Faith never liked me. She thinks I am a terrible person. And now I'm even worse since I fucked her little sister, thanks to you," Phil grumbled.Jodi threw her hair back and laughed. "Nobody forced me to sleep with you. I was the one who seduced you, remember?""Yes, but I didn't exactly try to stop you either," Phil said."Don't worry, I can keep a secret if you want me to," Jody winked."Whatever. I'll be leaving anyway, so you'll never see me again," Phil said. "Now get dressed and get the fuck out of my room. I have to get ready for my flight."Jody winced. Was this true? Was she really not going to see him again? Well, that's a bummer."So, what time is your flight?" She asked."1 am.""Well, you already missed it, so come back to bed. We can cuddle," Jod

The house was quiet again.Phil was gone, and Jody left not so long after. So it was just her and Anthony again. And, of course, the baby that was growing inside her.She still had a hard time believing she was pregnant with Anthony's baby. It was surreal.Anthony was clingy as always. He even came home early from work every day to keep her company. And to take care of her. But Faith didn't mind anymore. It was endearing, and she came to enjoy spending time with him.Maybe, just maybe, she could forgive him for buying her dad's house and blackmailing her with it. Faith grinned at the memory. She was furious with him and made up her mind to pay him back every penny before leaving him, but now...things were different. The thought of leaving him made her chest constrict. She was too used to having him around now."You have a mail, ma'am," Faith's heart leaped as she didn't hear Dori come in."I do?" she narrowed her eyes. She barely ever had mail because she stopped working. The only thi

Faith had been going away to art school for a few weeks now, and it drove Anthony crazy. He missed waking up next to her every morning, he craved her. How was he supposed to wait for four months? But he had no choice since he had already decided to support her with her dreams, so he couldn't get her to come back now.Stupid school and their requirements. But the house felt so empty without her. She is a quiet girl, but her presence made a lot of difference to him. He wasn't lonely anymore with her around."Mr. DeMarco?"Anthony looked up as their housekeeper was speaking to him, so he looked at her questioningly."What is it?" he asked."Should I go ahead and clean your bedroom now?" she asked.Anthony nodded absentmindedly. "Yes, go ahead. And organize the closet while you're at it. I want everything to look perfect when Faith is here for the weekend.""Yes sir," she said.Anthony knew Faith liked everything cleaned and organized when she was here. She would usually do it herself but

Faith's eyes darkened. She knew this day would come eventually, but she didn't think it would come so soon. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't want you to think..." she stopped talking as the tears streamed down her cheeks."What, Faith? What didn't you want me to think?" Anthony demanded."I didn't want you to think I'm a slut like my dad."Anthony stared at her dumbfounded. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could anyone think that about Faith? "SLUT?" he roared. "Are you kidding me? How can you think I'd call you that for one second? What he did to you was not your fault. That bastard molested you!"Faith flinched at hearing the word. She spent years of her life trying to forget it had happened to her. She pretended not to acknowledge it so it would eventually disappear from her memory. Why did Anthony have to dig it back out?She should've been more careful. She should've burned that journal. She felt so stupid!Faith gasped as she felt sudden warmth. It took her a m

Anthony traced his fingertips around the writing on the paper and then slid it toward Faith's uncle."What is this?" Rudy squinted at it as if he was having a hard time seeing."Read it," Anthony ordered. He didn't have the time to mess around.Rudy picked it up and held it in front of his face. His eyes turned wide. "What the fuck is this?""Alright, since you insist on playing dumb, I'll tell you. This is a statement where you agree to sign over all of your properties to Faith," Anthony said.Rudy stares at Anthony, completely dumbfounded. "Is this some kind of a joke?"Anthony shook his head. "Of course not. I don't joke about something like this.""Wh...why...why would I give everything to Faith? I have children of my own." Rudy chuckled.Anthony leaned forward to get closer to the man's face. It took all his strength for him to not punch this old man's face, but he wasn't planning on to violence just yet. It was not his style. "Think of it as part of your compensation to Faith."

A few months later, Anthony stared at the file in front of him and smiled. He finally got his revenge. It wouldn't erase the pain Faith felt growing up, but he couldn't let her uncle get away with everything, so he made him suffer. He called in a few favors and made her uncle suffer every day for two weeks until he surrendered. Faith was coming home for the weekend, so he wrapped everything up early to make preparations for her. He couldn't wait until she saw the surprise he had in store for her. "Mr. DeMarco, Mrs. DeMarco has arrived and waiting for you in the garden," their housekeeper smiled as she opened the door. He strode toward the garden. Faith was sitting on a swing, softly stroking her swollen belly. She was nearly ready to give birth. Anthony preferred her to move back now, but she only had one last semester in college left, and she insisted on finishing it. "Anthony, hi-..." He covered her mouth with his before she could finish talking. He had been craving these lip

  • All for the Money    Chapter 54 (Jody and Phil Prologue)

Phil sat on a bar stool with his elbows resting, staring at the television mounted on the wall behind the bartender. His facial expression was stoic, not at all amused by what was on TV. Occasionally, he took a sip from his beer but didn't enjoy it. He was not engaging with anyone around him and instead kept to himself. As Phil sat there, lost in his own thoughts, he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a woman with a bright smile on her face, trying to get his attention. "Hey there, handsome, you look like you could use some company," she said, batting her eyelashes at him. Phil wasn't sure how to respond, feeling a bit taken aback by the sudden attention. He gave her a half-hearted smile and turned back to the TV, hoping she would take the hint and leave him alone. But the woman wasn't deterred. She leaned in closer to him, her perfume overwhelming his senses. "Come on, don't be shy," she said, placing a hand on his arm. "I promise I'll make it worth you

Jodie's eyes lit up."Yes, there's an orphanage I'd like you both to visit. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to have you there," Lisa said.

Two years later,Phil nearly groaned as Jodie presented yet another ridiculous home decor in front of him."What the heck is this?"He demanded.Jodie smiled proudly. "It's a wall hanging made entirely out of recycled bottle caps! Isn't it amazing?"Phil rolled his eyes. "It's a bunch of garbage glued together. How is that amazing?"Jodie's pouted. "You just don't understand art."Phil laughed. "Oh really? Is that what it is?"Jodie narrowed her eyes, sensing Phil's sarcasm. "Yes, it is. And it's also environmentally friendly. I think it's a great addition to our home."Phil shook his head. "I'm all for being eco-friendly, but that doesn't mean we have to sacrifice style and taste.""Stop being so grouchy all the time," Jodie snapped."I'm not grouchy.""Yes, you are!" Jodie argued."No, I'm not." Phil shook his head."Yes, you are."Phil sighed. He could never win an argument against Jodie. "Fine, maybe I am a little grouchy. But can you blame me when you keep bringing home these...u

"OH MY GOD!" Jodie screamed as soon as Phil carried her inside his loft."What?" Phil scowled and put her down."This is the ugliest place I've ever seen! No wonder you wanted to hire me as your interior decorator."Phil groaned. "Jodie, I was joking when I said that and this place isn't the bad.""Oh no? Then why does it look like a dungeon?" Jodie gestured to the dark walls and minimal furniture. "And what is with that couch?""It's comfortable," Phil defended."Comfortable? It looks like a block of ice!" Jodie shook her head. "We need to start from scratch. New paint, new furniture, new everything."Phil sighed. "Fine, but we are not making the place look like a unicorn threw up on it."Jodie grinned. "I was joking about that too. Trust me, Phil. I'll make this place look like a palace." "Alright, my queen. You can do all that later. Now can we get on with our wedding night?" He smirked.Jodie rolled her eyes playfully. "Patience, my king. Let me just light some candles and put on

"So, what did Phil say?" Faith asked Jodie later that day. "He said he would be my sugar daddy," Jodie said in a daze. Faith's eyes turned wide, but then she laughed. "What? I meant, what did he say about your illness?" Jodie blushed. "Oh, right. He was really sweet and understanding about it. He said he wanted to be there for me and that we'll face it together if it came to that. It was actually really nice to hear," Jodie said, a small smile appearing on her face. Faith smiled back. "I'm glad he's being supportive. You deserve someone who will be there for you, no matter what." Jodie nodded. "Yeah, I know. And I'm starting to think that maybe Phil could be that person." Faith raised an eyebrow. "Really? You're considering him as a serious option?" Jodie shrugged. "I don't know. It's just...he always pushed me away before but..." "But now he's showing a different side of himself," Faith finished for her. "I get it. Just be careful, okay? Don't let yourself get too swept up at
