Chapter 69 Teasing His Own Mother

After Lucas left to shower, Scarlett ran into the kitchen to take out all the food that Lucas had cooked. She swallowed. Lucas had outdone himself again. The food looked and smelled delectable. She couldn't wait to dig in! But, considering his hard work, she decided to wait for him.

"My baby is so talented," she mumbled in wonder.

"Didn't you know that already?" Lucas had already finished showering, and his hair was still damp. He must've taken a quick bath and put on his clothes immediately after.

She grabbed a towel and ruffled his damp hair. "Why didn't you dry your hair before you came down?"

"I had to come down quickly. What if you had finished all the food?" Lucas replied directly.

"Do I look like I would do something like that?"

"Yes," he replied without hesitation.
