It turned out that when Greyson wasn’t in his teacher-mode, he was quite fun to hang out with. We ate all the dumplings and talked. I was grateful that he didn’t ask me about what truly happened and simply talked about the future.

“You didn’t insist on knowing what happened. Do you want to know?”

“I know it got something to do with that brat so I will scold him later.”

I laughed.

“No, it’s not him. Actually, I didn’t expect him to take my side,” I paused briefly. “I learnt something shocking today. I think I need someone to talk to. I used to talk to someone before but that someone was just a snake. I think you won’t use what I tell you against me.”

He didn’t answer and I was grateful for that.

“She used me and when she had what she wanted, she threw me away. I thought we were friends. Well, I always thought the way she clung to me was suspicious but I didn’t think the truth would hurt like this. Moreover, it happened all over again. Frederick used me like this. He…” I lost the words

I didn’t know where I was. Everything just played before me like a movie. It was a memory and something triggered it. Maybe after trying so hard, my body snapped.Maybe I died because of the taboo thing.I closed my eyes, wondering if death was better. Darkness surged all around me, embracing me, cold, concrete. If this was death, then it was certainly strange. There were two golden bestial eyes above me, looking at me as if I was an alien while I floated in the void.“What’s that?” I mumbled.“I don’t know. Why are you asking me?”I whipped my head to the side, taking in my wolf. She was standing next to me, big and beautiful. A white wolf with two blue eyes like mine. She was even taller.“Wow! Is this what you look like?”“Does it surprise you?” When I nodded, my wolf laughed. “Sigmas are different. We grow as you grow. I’ve been with you since we were born. I still remember when our parents were alive, we used to talk a lot and they kept scolding us to keep it a secret. They were

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Adolphus

ADOLPHUS’ POV:I didn’t expect my sister to be this cruel. Not only Ebony was Greyson’s granddaughter, she saved her life. So the least we could do, was help her get to what she wanted.Alice turned angry when she saw the video they took… Whoever filmed it, he fucked up pretty bad. I didn’t like it when I had to deal with this kind of things.I was mad too, but not because I kissed her.Ebony affected me horribly. If I took it further and had sex with her, if I she turned out to be my mate, it would put me in a terrible spot. My mate would destroy everything we worked hard to build so the best outcome was to kill her. After everything that happened between us, I wasn’t sure I’d kill her if it turned out to be true.“Why did you even kiss her?” my sister continued. “Why did you even touch her? I thought with the way you treated each other that you hated her.”“It’s not your business, Alice. Whatever is happening between us, you got no say in it.”“Ah!” she laughed. “Do I? Really? I got

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Ebony

EBONY’S POV:To be honest, I spent a long time sitting on the boulder, thinking. After what Greyson, I mean grandpa told me, I was confused and guilty. I could guess what Adolphus’ plan was at that time. He was trying to get himself killed afterwards, to make the regression happen. When I recall what happened, I shiver.‘I told you he is a nice guy.’Stop making me feel guilty.‘You should be. He helped us go back. So we should tell the sister to fuck off and tell the brother to come close.’Do you ever think of other things?‘Well, the kiss was nice.’I am not that desperate. I can get anyone to kiss me. Moreover, he doesn’t like it. He stopped midway.‘Maybe he had other plans for the fucking.’He still fucked another one so what you said won’t work as an excuse.‘Damn it! Then we should tell him.’He doesn’t deserve it… yet. He kissed me and then humiliated me by pushing me away. Do you get it? He stomped on us.‘Maybe he has some issues.’Are you working as an excuse maker now?‘W

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Grandpa

It felt nice to do that and it felt nice to have a grandpa as well. I’ve never had the chance to feel the warmth of someone in my family. My aunt has been the reference I used each time someone showed me kindness, but grandpa was crazy.I’ve never seen such a crazy man.He didn’t care about the rules at all. Before, when I lived with him those three months, he tried to control his behavior, but now, it didn’t happen. We were splayed on the ground, lying on our stomach as we stared at the notes we made for hours now. It has been three days since I talked to Adolphus.Grandpa decided to return to the Remington family so now, he was planning his return. He wanted it to be grandiose and dramatic. Something to look forward to at least. I would make sure to be there simply to watch their reactions.“The man who disappeared returns from the dead,” I said. “Imagine the Werewolf magazine writing that. I will buy it just to see what they will write.”“I will buy it too, just to laugh at it. I n

“Fuck.”Rolling onto my back, I inhaled sharply and threw a hand over my head. I was fucking spent. I took a moment to catch my breath before I got up. The night didn’t turn out well. After I ran for an hour, I returned, only to find Adolphus with grandpa.I presumed they talked. Probably about me. I hated this situation.“You look like you stomped on shit.”I spun on my heels.“I am. My night was horrible. I couldn’t sleep well,” I pouted.I spent hours thinking about what they were talking about. I didn’t even know why he was coming around. As far as I was concerned, he didn’t come this frequently. Not for a week straight.“The celebration is close. Three days of beer and dancing. The moon’s blessing or what they believe. I’ll have to go to buy a beautiful dress. I don’t want to appear like an old woman,” I grinned. “You’ll have to buy something too. You don’t want to appear like a gorilla.”Grandpa raised an eyebrow.“You’re right. Let’s get over with it.”Our expressions were the

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Telling Him

I was running in the forest when my skin tingle. I knew he was around, like always. I didn’t know why he frequently came over but I hated how he made me feel. It made me have some questions.I stopped running. My gaze moved to his silhouette. He was leaning against the tree, his arms crossed.“I bet you came here for me this time, not for grandpa.”“I don’t know. I was just in the area and decided to see if you were still around.”Why wouldn’t I be around? I was looking forward to grandpa’s great skills on display. I was sure he would ruin it. For someone who lived away from people, I was confident he would just jump on stage, tell them who he was and come down with his head held high.Well, I didn’t mind. As long as Remington's expressions showed the truth, it didn’t matter what grandpa said. It was just cream over the top. Werewolves cared about details that were dramatic. So it would be easy to get what we want.I stared at him for a while before moving closer. I placed my hands on

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Adolphus

ADOLPHUS’ POV: I knew it was her since that day.She was my true mate.I didn’t need to look for her anymore. I was in so much confusion that I had to return frequently and watch their interactions. She was like Greyson… in a way.“You called for me, Alpha?”I turned around, meeting Aiden’s eyes. His father was behind him. I called both of them because I needed to resume an important experiment. It was taking some time since the results were slow.Aiden looked at his father.“Yes, I called both of you to my office because I have an important matter to discuss.”I had to return to the Bloodmoon pack’s territory to be in a trustworthy place.“This must stay a secret between the four of us.”“Four?”I called someone else to be part of this meeting. It was time to do something about Frederick and his sick mind. My fists clenched hard.I spent the whole night boxing with my Gamma. I wasn’t the future Alpha. I was the Alpha, officially recognized through a special test I passed. She cut a

My world felt complete when I saw her in the middle of the crowd. She mingled perfectly with her black dress and cheerful makeup. If she tried to seduce anyone, she would succeed. I’ve kept an eye on her since she said she didn’t want her mate. It has been a week since then.I couldn’t tell her I was her mate. Our connection grew stronger day by day and I couldn’t know why she wasn’t able to sense me.If she could talk to her wolf, it meant that she was recovering. The concoctions Greyson made for her made the wolf strong but the rest came from me. We tried coming up with a pill that acted like Adagoril. A fake drug to switch to instead of the original one.No matter what I did, she was just there. Everywhere. In my dreams, in my life, even looking at my sister, she was there. She bought a few snacks and ate them. She avoided the girls who played a huge role in her nightmare. And then, she looked at the bar buzzling with people.I sidled up next to her, crediting the blush she was wea

It’s sad that Chronos isn’t around anymore but I think it’s for the better. Now, no one has to take meaningless responsibilities. I guess without them, everything will be peaceful.”“How do you know…?”I cut him off. “C’mon! You’re a smart man. You know there is no way a five years old child will talk like this. I’ve lived through two regressions and I’ve come back again as part of the plan, only this time, this is the final phase. We can’t lose.”“Ah! What happened? Why did Chronos disappear?”“My father was supposed to be the sacrifice. I don’t know why but unlike all the other Chronos sent, I am the only one who got to regress more than a decade. That’s why they left the burden to me. Since my father is still alive, I assume that Chronos took the hardest decision in his life. He chose to die and take the others with him. I don’t know if I should feel

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Back Again

EBONY’S POV:I opened my eyes early in the morning. I drank my milk and sat with my parents having breakfast. They laughed together and nothing reminded me of these moments. I have been waiting for my father’s heart attack for two weeks now and it didn’t happen.I checked my tattoo mark and it was there, just faint and impossible to notice.“Sweetie, do you want more milk? You’ve been sipping on your glass while it’s empty,” my mother said.Mom had long black hair and the palest, bluest eyes I’ve ever seen. They weren’t the normal typical blue. They were lighter and paler, as if they were diluted by white and became as blue as the sky early in the morning when the sun had finally settled in place.“Yes, mom.”And I was five.I couldn’t believe that it worked. My father was sitting there, wearing glasses and reading his early morning newspapers. Our house was small and it was full of magical artifacts. Maybe because I was five, I didn’t remember them. Or maybe because a lot happened af

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Frederick

FREDERICK’S POV:I stood outside, thinking about everything that happened to me, all the regressions, the people we lost. I’ve grown numb to all the deaths. As long as Adolphus was alive, there was always a chance to change the outcome. My final role was to kill him. For the regression to happen, he had to die after her. Now, whether we wanted it or not, things would never be the same. I would go back to the kid I was and Adolphus would go back to his old self too. To be honest, I was always jealous of how he had a choice in remembering or not.He got out of the underground cell built specifically for today.“You certainly put so much into this,” he said.“Of course. But this is where our role stops. No matter how much we want to influence things with our current memories, it won’t ever happen. We won’t remember anything.”“It’s true. But this is the price we have to pay if we want it to work. We only need to someone to warn them. They will do the rest. If it doesn’t work again, then

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Ebony

EBONY’S POV:I was sweating profusely. I would die. I would certainly die. For the second time. I knew this was coming but I didn’t expect it to be this soon. I was trying to make a plan to fix things but it seemed all the effort I spent on that was a waste.“Adolphus, please be gentle.”Adolphus was confused. “Aren’t you mad that I killed your father?”“I’m sure he wanted that. He didn’t play a big role in my life so it doesn’t matter. But can you untie me?”He didn’t untie me because Frederick was ready to shoot me. But thinking about it, didn’t he kill me before too? No, he said that Adolphus must have poisoned me so I was dying anywhere. But I didn’t cough blood, which meant it could be that I wasn’t poisoned.‘Don’t overthink. These jerks planned a lot that they won’t say. Well, since we have no choice, let’s just wait till they settle their score. Maybe they’ll fight.’“Wait a second, you look like shit. Did my father beat you that hard?”Adolphus shot me a glare.“Woah! My fath

ADOLPHUS’ POV:Instead of finding Frederick, I found her father. He was waiting for me in the middle of a clearing, playing with some cards. I shifted back to my human form.“You’re late,” he said. “I expected you to get here faster.”“Where is Ebony?”“With Frederick.”“Alright! I will go find her.”“I am afraid that you can’t do that,” he waved his hand and something shifted in the air. “You have to stay with me here. I want to fight you.”“What are you planning, both of you?” I growled. “She’s your daughter.”“I know.”“And you want to leave her alone.”“Frederick said that every time, you said the same words. That’s why the plan was for you to hate her but you still didn’t do that. He wanted you to hate her, to reject her while she wasn’t aware that you’re her mate. But it didn’t happen. I know why a part of phase 2 failed. When planning, no one thought of how my daughter is a variable.”“You won’t stop me.”I shifted and started running. He didn’t stop me. I thought he was all ta

I woke up in a cell. It was easy to recognize it because I’ve been there multiple times before. It reminded me of the torture I was subject to and how I suffered. I didn’t want to go back. And where was my father? The cell was dark. I couldn’t see anything. I tried to move my hands but they were tied. I was on a chair. I had to wait for a long time. I lost track of counting. Maybe it was the third time I reached one hundred.‘This is getting weird. We were with dad and then everything went black. Any idea?’Yeah, but I don’t wanna say it.‘Ammm… Yeah. Horrible. Dad is a jerk.’After what seemed like an eternity, the door opened. It was behind me and I finally caught sight of a lamp and a desk in front of me. Someone stepped inside. I felt him in my bones. Fucking Frederick.“Did you have to make my father into a jerk?”“He understands the consequences, don’t worry?”Frederick walked around and sat on a chair, not far from me.“How do you feel?”“Seriously? You’re asking me that? I fee

ADOLPHUS’ POV:When I saw a white wolf, I was confused. She was running and she didn’t care about the three that followed her. It intrigued me. And then, I felt my mark on her and knew it was my Ebony.I was stricken by how beautiful she was. She looked so free that it made me sad. She didn’t get to shift before and now, she felt how important it was.I didn’t want to overreact but I wanted her. Seeing her naked had only made me want her more. And then, there was her father. I was shocked. When Frederick said someone was telling her things, I didn’t expect it to be someone who was supposed to be dead.‘We gotta do it.’It’s hard to do it.‘We cannot run from this. We have to send her back and as quickly as possible. If she regresses to a time where everything can change, it will be better for all of us. It will undo everything.’But she will remember.‘It doesn’t look like she is suffering anymore. Look at her. She is happy. If she goes back, she will get what she lost and she’ll have

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   Down The Cliff

I was a wolf. I was running as fast as I could in the forest, forgetting everything that happened to me. It was so wholesome that I didn’t have to think about anything else. Nothing mattered but running.I felt freedom. Being one with the wind. For thirty years, I’ve never shifted once and here I was, running like a wolf. Nova was happy too. We were happy, ecstatic even. It was a feeling I’ve never felt before.I kept running and running, the wind over my fur but I didn’t feel cold. On the contrary, I felt complete. I finally had the chance to become what I was, a werewolf. We rolled in the grass, chased a few rabbits but didn’t catch them and howled. For the first time, I felt like a child.I didn’t care about anything else.I only stopped when the moon felt so wholesome. I stared at it for a while before I heard a laugh. When I saw who was laughing, I remembered my father, Brandon Wildknight.“Petra was white like you,” he said. When he stood next to me, I realized I was taller than

  • All Over Again, My Dear Dark Alpha   When The Past Catches Up

EBONY’S POV:I closed my eyes and waited for the blood to ooze from me but nothing happened. There was also the fact that I had to deal with a lot of pain. I laid on the ground and curled into a ball. There were a few more gunshots but I didn’t care. It was too much to handle. I hated pain. I hated everything that made me suffer. If this was how shifting worked, I didn’t want it.I heard a crack on my back and then a series of similar sounds followed, but it was slow. So slow that it put me into agony. I wished to sleep it off. Or maybe give my wolf control. Can you take over?‘I am. Why do you think it hurts? It’s because I am taking complete control. Your body is fighting it because you have Wildknight blood.’I felt a warm hand on my hair. It caressed me and then, I smelled something. It was like a smoke that made the pain fade. Slowly, I lost consciousness.Again, my wolf and I were sitting one next to the other. I was conscious of myself so it didn’t sound like a dream and it did
