Royale Pack Territory

States

Valentina's POV:

I sprayed a different perfume from the current. Even if the Beta female does not reveal my identity, my scent can easily give it off. 

Now, I need to remove all the weapons from kitchen in case someone smells them. The spices and all the food items in kitchen along with some fruity perfumes sprayed on them are a good camouflage but you can never be very sure.

I realize that all the food and water present in the Palace can't be wasted. It is almost an impossible feat to achieve. I am going to keep my eye on Damien Cristopher Kahil. I am certain if I keep an eye on him, I will be able to detect the rogues.

I silently crept toward the kitchen, delegated the work of Kayne to someone else and retrieved the bucket of fruits with weapons stored in it.

Alphas along with their Betas from various packs have started arriving at the Palace. I keep my eyes trained on the Alphas and Betas being led to fourth floor. I silently followed in pretense of doing my job.

If Damien Cristopher Kahil wants to succeed, he will not want anyone to get suspicious of all his planning and the morphed DNA takes around sometime to show the effects, it means that not more than 4 or 5 rogues will be here in attendance. I can handle this, I muttered to myself.

Following Alpha's led me to a large hall, where all high ranking wolves were interacting. Meeting was scheduled at 10:00, Alfa Re will arrive at that time only. So, till the time everyone is not in attendance, I have the opportunity to take out all the pawns of this traitor one by one.

Damien was a dominating, cruel man in his late 50s. His feud with late Alfa Re has been something which everyone is well versed with. He wanted to be Alfa Re but it was not something he was cut out for. 

He had once tried to kill then Alfa Re unfairly in challenge by using wolfsbane but was unsuccessful in doing so. He was given a 20 year sentence for the same but was released early for some undisclosed reasons and he have been quiet after that till now.

He was a sly man. Alfa Re, Royal Beta, Royal Gamma and Royal Head Enforcer are nowhere to be seen. It is uasually a sort of tradition to have a meeting of Supernatural Council with High ranking Wolves. 

The werewolf King being the King of Supernaturals was also Headman of the council. Consisting of some other powerful members from Supernatural world- including Vampire King, Elder Werewolf, Oracle and some other members of species.

The Supernatural council usually act as a mediator in case any dispute arises between different species. Oracle have vast knowledge of history of supernaturals, Vampire have speed and werewolves have hieghtened senses, strength, mindlink and ability to transfer in wolves.

I keep an eye on Damien and found him doing some kind of weird gestures to a waiter. I silently creeped behind him from a distance. In case, he caught a whiff of my scent he can be alert. On, the very same floor, he led me to a store room. I waited silently for him to come out. 

He did came out and after checking the hallways left for the kitchen. I followed him when he was near powder room, I deliberately bumped into him and before he has a chance to react shove him to bathroom and snapped his neck.

I injected his body with enough wolfsbane for him to paralysed for 6-hours. After that, I shoved him in a stall and closed the door.

1 down, many to go. I made my way back to the store room. There was no activity there. It is around 09:20 by now. If my guess is not wrong, 2 or 3 rogues will come out to take the Heir out of equation. So, I waited in a corridor which leads to back staircase.

After waiting for 5 minutes, 3 rogues came out. How the hell Damien managed to smuggle rogues in the castle under the nose of Alfa Re? 

He must have woven a pretty convincing tale. I discreetly followed them. They were silently laughly at the superb plan of their leader. They look well trained. I cannot take them down together. So, I need to distract them and separate them.

I don't have any kind of help here which I can use as a distraction. Suddenly, my gaze fell on my ID card. Why not use my new position as a advantage. I fastened my pace, while dialling my phone and muttering loudly about incompetent employees. 

On hearing me, they got alert. They galnced backward but I did not pay attention to them and dashes in one of them blindly. 

"I am so sorry. I was not watching where I was going. You know the work pressure and all." I while talking took my gun out and shoot the one of them even before the other can realize what happened.

I buttheaded the one and punches another. Now, I was two against one and I don't have much time. If the guards have a hint of any kind of strange sound, it can be fatal for whole mission.

I have one advantage of catching them offguard and I was going to use it to my fullest potential. I hooked a punch to my left, this gave the rogue opening to kick me from right causing me to falter for a second. 

I will have to kill them. I taught to myself and fired two shots of bullets laced with wolfsbane. One in the leg and other near heart.

I dragged them one by one in the nearby empty room. Thank God, majority of the guards are now at Alpha gathering, so I can do my work in peace.

As I turned, I find 8 guards of Royal Army. 

"Your Game is over. Handover yourselves to us." One of them addressed me. 

I glanced back at store room. Only 1 or 2 will be left. I am not gonna back down now. I made a run for the store room.

"Stop right there or we are going to shoot you." One shouted as I ran.

I was about to enter the room when I was shot in my leg. I fell down but I did not give up. I dragged myself inside. Thank God, the door was not locked. I locked the door and found two rogues. They were alerted by the sound of bullet.

My bluetooth beeped, informing me of the incoming communication. 

"We have Luna Grace and her child with us and Pack is alerted of the the upcoming attack. Mission successful. Abort." Announced Daphne.

I was fighting with the rogues, simultaneously barking orders at them.

"I am in a difficult situation. I need you to go to my office and destroy every evidence of you three related to our Mission." I barked at Lily while dodging a punch.

I injected one with wolfsbane and he fell down. By now, the Guards were at outside the door, threatening to breakdown. 

"But Val..." Lily interrupted.

"Do as you are told. I will be held responsible for kidnapping high ranking wolves. I will not be given execution until their location will be tortured out from me. I want Luna Grace, her Child and Heir safe. Hid at K's house." I barked and threw away bluetooth. I shoot the other rogue.

The door was just seconds away from being broken. I immediately searched for the vial of the morphed DNA from the table containing various weapons and all other stuff. 

I remembered Kayne telling me ways to destroy the DNA. I found a lighter placed on the table. I gather few paper scatter there. Place the vial on the papers and lit it up. 

I watched in satisfaction as the morphed DNA burnt. The door gave away. It was an ancient door which had been able to hold itself against the strengh of werewolves. As the door broke. I sank to my knees.

In came barging the guards along with the Royal Beta, Royal Head Enforcer and Damien. I slided my pistol, tranquilizers and bullets towards them and held my hands on my head.

"A sensible wolf. When not seeing anyway out, surrendring yourself. And nice plan. When you thought you will be caught, you killed your own team members. So that they cannot testify against you." Damien drawled out, using situation to his advantage.

I flashed him a feral grin, my fangs coming out. One of the guards hit me on my head on my disrespect to a high ranking wolf.

"Alfa Re has asked the culprit to be presented in front of all Supernatural Council and all Alphas to set a example for those who go against him." Announced Royal Head Enforcer.

They dragged me to the General Pack Meeting Hall. I did not uttered a word. If I am given a fair trial. I will defend myself, if not I will succumb to my death happily. 

The hall was way to large with a platform of about a foot or so, with around 20 chairs placed in a semicircular setting facing the different tables placed.

The hall was full of high ranking members of Pack sitting dumbfounded, staring at me dragged and dropped like a rag dall in front of the platform. 

I did not know that in this very hall, I was going to get shock of my lifetime.
