Valentina's POV:

I was escorted back to the Alfa Re's floor and to the formal dining hall. William perked up at my arrival and ran to me. I effortlessly picked him up.

"Somebody mrissed me, huh?" I questioned a squirming William as I playfully tickled him. He shrieked with joy and laughed loudly. The pup in his human form was too cute for his own good and I smothered him with kisses. His chubby cheeks and unique vanilla citrus scent giving me internal peace.

I carried him to the table and sat with him on my lap. I leaned over to kiss Alexander on his cheek. After that we enjoyed a quite lunch which was only disturbed when William wanted to share his adventures he had with his fellow pups.

I listened with rapt attention his every tale as I really wanted to be part of his every laugh, every sorrow and every joy. I
