Chapter Three

“……. Alexis, I am leaving you to live in the same world which you hate, but you are no longer whom you are seven years ago, go back home and take all that it throw at you, but when you can’t take it any longer, make sure to walk away, it was at that time you are now matured enough to live in this world. But before walking away, make sure to create a ruckus and vent all your pent up anger………”

Alexis Master word keep playing in her head. When she was out of that building, she breathed out a long breath she had hold back.

“Now I am free, I can walk alone without fear, I can now deal with the same world which frustrated me much from my young days, Mr. World here I come.”

Alexis screamed out each word from her mouth, she turned to a direction and walked away without even looking back, but as she walked away, her voice keep reverberating.

“I am walking away not leaving, I am going right now, but I will be back, and when I am back, I would take back all that belongs to me, I will crush all that come against, because I am Alexis………” those are words from Alexis mouth as she walked away.

Some seconds later, she was at the main road that lead directly to various place in the city. The street was full of peoples, some trekking, some were in public transport, some were also in their own private car, shops and stalls were opened, and some were just opening, people who are mobile were also hawking with their wares on their head.

Alexis walked to a known direction, she found a place to make a call, and she place a call to her boss first. When the end pick up.

“Ma’am.” Alexis said to the phone.

Probably the end recognized Alexis voice. “Don’t tell me you are not coming today.”

The voice from the other end had a feminine voiced, and Alexis can felt the sarcasm from the voice, though it was stern and looked like an accusation, yet Alexis knew her boss better than anyone, the old woman as she usually called her was playing prank on her once again.

“Well, I was not coming because I would be late.” Alexis and hang up immediately.

She smiled and paid her fee, Alexis stopped a cab and head towards the bank, she had always saved her money using that olden means, but now that her destination was unknown for now, she can be going around with such a bulky cash, she decided to open an account first, and then keep all her money there.

An hour later, she came out of the bank with her bank card clutched to herself, she head to the telecommunication office, she registered for a new line too, when all is ready, she looked at the time, and it read 10:10am, finally she head to the restaurant.

Immediately she make it into the restaurant, the rest of the waiter all rushed towards her. Alexis knew already that she had poke the hornet nest.

“Madam Lydia want you in her office as soon as you report in.” One of the waiter said, she looked aggressive.

Alexis swallowed her saliva nervously. “Okay, okay I knew it that I was not save when she allowed me to go last night.” Alexis said as she walked towards Madam Lydia office

Actually Alexis right now was like a scared mouse, but a person with a keen eyes would know that, she was not scared at all, in fact she was more amuse than ever, she only fake nervousness, and her façade as a top rated one, because all the waiter thought she was scared.

“And hopefully you go with your sweetest mouth and best defense.” The same waiter said again, immediately the rest of the waiter all burst to laughter.

Alexis looked back at her colleague, she made a viscous expression at everybody, then she entered into Madam Lydia office.

Immediately Alexis left, the same Waiter turned around at the rest. “Shoo, that is enough, now go do your job.”

“Gina what do you think was Alexis offence and punishment?” a petite waiter asked.

The same Waiter was named Gina, and she was Alexis best friend, in fact all the Waiter were all friends, they all have a good relationship with one another.

Gina make a fierce stand. “You want to know, then I can lead you into Madam Lydia office for a little interrogation.”

“What!” the petite Waiter withdrawn back with a weary expression over her. “I want to live till old age please.” She said and ran away to do her job, that rest of the Waiter burst to laughter, and they all walked away to do their job.

Well Alexis and the rest of the waiter all have a good relationship amidst themselves, they always share one another problem, and Alexis was the one whom they always ran to when ever they were abused.

Alexis entered Madam Lydia office, and she felt the wave of anger coming from the small room. Alexis only smudge to herself, she entered the office, she met her boss who was also Madam Lydia sweating profusely.

Without been told, Alexis knew what happened, quickly she ran into the office, she removed one of the needle that was tied to her wrist, she point it at a spot below Madam Lydia brain, directly where the spinal nerves and the brain connect one another. Alexis didn’t stopped there, she removed five more needle and used it at five different place it in Madam Lydia brain.

Alexis heaved out. “Thank God I came in just in time, who knew how much thing she would destroyed.”

Actually Madam Lydia was one of the patient whom Alexis always treated, and Alexis had been treating her for the past three years. Madam Lydia ailment was known as nervous disorder, but because the ailment had eaten deep into her body, the process of treatment took such a long time.

Her ailment began after her husband divorced her, she began to take drugs, and she became addicted to it. Only when she knew about the harm she was causing herself, she decided to stop, but it became impossible for her, for her system was used to the drugs. Her family also tried all that they could for her, but Madam Lydia case was going from worse to worst.

She began to take depressant drugs, but that was the worst, because that caused her a total nervous breakdown, in a second, she would be sober, such that people around her might thought she had no life in her, another seconds she would became too excited. In fact Madam Lydia gradually turned to mental disorder patient, before she knew it, she began to lose function of some part of her body.

This continued for some month, until she met Alexis. Alexis became her doctor, and she gained function of her part of the body, then with some incense and few acupuncture treatment, Madam Lydia gradually was having her sense back to herself. And that was how Alexis also began to work in the same restaurant owned by Madam Lydia.

After Alexis had managed to put Madam Lydia to sleep by the aid of her acupuncture needle, she removed all the needle, she returned back then to her wrist, she also his helped Madam Lydia to a comfortable place, after that she began to make more incense, she put them to dry, then she light the last batch of incense that remained with Madam Lydia, finally she washed her hand and face in a basin of water, then she closed the door and walked out.
