Pain

Alexander rubbed his eyes, and she screamed, making him jump.

She reached for her towel hastily and covered herself with it as he closed the door.

She put her hand over her mouth as embarrassment took over disbelief, and stayed silent for a while because she didn't think she could face him.

"Are you there?" He asked, and she swallowed.

"Ivy?" He asked, and she tapped the door in response.

"I didn't see anything. If anything, your scream woke me up, and I really need to use the bathroom urgently." He said and ivy closed her eyes.

She didn't know whether to believe him. He had been half asleep, but, after she screamed, it had taken a while for him to close the door.

She opened the door slowly, and met him standing in front of her.

"Use the bathroom." She said in a low voice, avoiding his gaze.

"You look like you don't believe me." He said and she shook her head hastily.
