5) Daisy is Minerva.

Lucas used to normally avoid girls and he didn't believe in love as when he was only five years old, his parents seperated and from that day he was seeking for love and a companion but at the end, he only became the third wheel for both of his parents' new families. Though he was a rich kid and his father always gave him a luxurious life but he was an eyesore for her step mother. So his cold icy attitude towards love was very reasonable as his mother never tried to contact him, after leaving his father. But, when he first saw Daisy , he couldn't stick to that same idea anymore. Daisy was so pure and innocent that he fell in love with her.

On the other side, Daisy was too tired to awake anymore. It was a long tiring day, so the moment her head touched the pillow, she fell in deep sleep. She had no energy left to log in to her gaming account. But for Nicolas, he spent rest of the night sleepless, waiting for Minerva as he wanted to ask her lots of questions. His all waiting went in vain as Minerva didn't come online. Almost at midnight, Nicolas fell in sleep. 

Next morning, as usual Daisy woke up and ran to her college. Henry already left for his work so Daisy hailed a cab to reach her college. Like the previous day, her schedule was packed up so she got no time to gossip or rest. It was almost afternoon when both Helen and Daisy finished their classes.

 Daisy was about to leave but Helen asked in surprise, tugging her sleeve, "Where are you going??" Daisy replied in confusion, "Of course, going home. Why??" 

Helen explained, " No you cannot go home now. we are going to watch the pubg match between Nicolas and Lucas." 

"Pubg match? How will we be able to watch it? They will play in their phones. What the hell! Do they also compete against each other in mobile games??" rolling her eyes, asked Daisy. 

"Ugh! you ask a lot of questions. Now keep quite and follow me," Helen replied. 

They both headed towards the auditorium. Daisy saw two separate teams. On one side, Nick, Jason and Alex were sitting with their phones and on other side Lucas was sitting, accompanied by three more boys  It was clear that they were going to fight against each other in room but Daisy couldn't why Nick's team got only three players. She was their forth player so she was eagerly waiting to see who was going to replace her. On the huge screen of auditorium, Daisy could see both teams logged in the game as their match was going to stream live. Helen was standing next to Daisy with excited expressions. There were lots of people cheering as if they were watching a football match. It was really a strange experience.

Daisy asked Helen in a low voice, "Why is  Nicolas playing only with two teammates?"

 Helen whispered back, "They have another player, but she is not from college, may be she will join soon." 

Daisy asked curiously, though she knew the answer, "What is her name?" 

Helen replied, "Minerva. She always plays with Nick's team. Without her help, it is impossible to win, she is extremely professional player." The moment Daisy heard Helen's answer, she froze on her place. 

Daisy thought, "So they are waiting for me? So without me they can lose the match? Nope that's impossible. I cannot see my team lose infront of my eyes." 

Daisy immediately decided she was going to reveal her identity and play for Nicolas. 

The live stream was about to start but it was clear from the expression of Nicolas' teammates, they were waiting for someone impatiently. Though Nicolas already sent numerous messages to Minerva but they all were in dilemma whether she would join them or not. 

When it was just two mins left for starting the match, Nicolas sighed in disappointment and thought, "She will not come anymore." But instantly, they saw a notification from Minerva who had sent them request. Daisy logged in her account, standing next to Helen and sent request to Kratos. But she needed a comfortable place to seat, so without asking for permission from anyone, she took long strides and reached near her teammates. They were absorbed in their phones. The moment Daisy took the empty seat next to Kratos, they all looked up at her together in astonishment. With a little smirk, Daisy connected her headphone and joining in the team, Daisy turned on her microphone.

 Then after clearing her throat, Daisy said in her silvery tone, "Let's start the match then." Three of them looked at her dumbfounded. They couldn't believe their eyes that their fourth teammate Minerva was sitting next to her. But they had already entered in the match.

 So, suppressing his surprised expression, Nicolas replied with a smirk, "Alright." Then the match started. Daisy's moves were swift and professional, as usual.

Every eyes of the auditorium were fixed on Daisy. Even Helen and Lucas also couldn't figure out at first why Daisy took the empty seat next to Kratos. But when, they saw the fourth team member of Kratos' team entered in the match, the situation became clear as crystal for all of them. They easily understood Daisy was none other than Minerva.

Lucas was also in little shock and disappointed, seeing Daisy, playing against him. But, he felt proud on the other hand thinking that he had chosen really a tough girl who got the guts and ability to defeat him. The match went on smoothly. With the help of some beautiful shots from Minerva, Kratos' team headed towards without any difficulty. The only opponent player who was alive at that moment was Lucifer. Minerva already played with that enemy squad before so she knew very well how to trap Lucifer. 

So, within a few minutes, Minerva lured Lucifer to show his head and with an awesome headshot, their screen lit up with the words, "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner."

 Jonas shouted, "Oh! What a headshot Minerva!" Alex agreed, "You are just awesome, as usual." Minerva smiled shyly. 

It was her first, talking with her friends when they were physically present. But both Jason and Alex treated her as they used to treat her. But, Nicolas was still silently staring at his phone. 

Daisy asked in her silvery voice, pointing at the other group, "Who is Lucifer? He is good."

 Nicolas replied nonchalantly, "It is Lucas, best among them." Then after a little pause, he continued, looking at her, " Well played Minerva or Should I call you Daisy?" 

Daisy biting her lower lip replied, "You can call me anything you like."

 "I don't want to call you anything actually,"  replied Nicolas with a cold expression.

 Daisy couldn't understand why Nicolas was angry with her so she asked, " But why? Haven't I helped you in winning the match just now?" 

Nicolas didn't bother to reply and not even he looked at Daisy. Daisy sighed and continued, "Alright, I should leave. Bye guys." Then she turned around to leave but immediately Nicolas raised his right hand grabbing Daisy's left hand's wrist, pulled her closer. Daisy was dumbfounded and looked up at Nicolas' complex expression. She could see the concern for her in Nicolas' purple eyes. 

"Where were you Daisy for last few days?? Do you know how worried I was? Why didn't you tell me about yourself yesterday?" Nicolas blurted out, grabbing Daisy's wrist firmly.

 Daisy mumbled nervously, "It was just- I was really busy and .. I wanted to give you a surprise actually. Even yesterday I tried to meet you but-"

 Cutting her in the middle, Nicolas asked, raising his one eyebrow, " But what?"

 "I didn't get the chance," she replied. Nicolas was looking at her with an angry and cold expression. So after a little pause, Daisy mumbled with a sigh, "Alright Sorry."

 Immediately Nicolas' lips curled up in a bright charming smile.
