"No!" She screamed as the black wolf bared its fangs at the vampire it had pinned to the ground. One of its huge paws dug into his chest, ripping through the fabric of his shirt to draw out reddish black blood. Nate did not struggle but he turned his head slowly to Eira, his widened eyes asking for help. Bella took off towards the edge, nearing the Lake as she ran. For a moment Eira thought she would jump into the waters but then her feet stilled and she turned. She stood in a defensive stance displaying her own new canines, veins blackened beneath her eyes but the witch did not like that.
The wolf sniffed and sniffed and only watched Nate for a while with its glowing yellow eyes, allowing the witch enough time to recover from the shock and throw him into the air with a spell. "Impingo volvo," she muttered and with the wave of her arms, the beast was lifted into the air and crashed into the trunk of a Bloodivy tree. It moaned in pain and rolled over to
[EIRA]For a moment, there was a deafening silence buzzing in her ears. She felt warm tears on her face and watched in horror at the vampire. Then she heard someone call her name from behind. For some reason, she expected to see the black haired vampire. But instead the solemn face of Josh greeted her."Get me some aconite! Quick!" He commanded as soon as his eyes fell on the suffering vampire. The sharpness of his voice gave strength to her weak knees and she ran out in an instant, not sure of where else she would find them and plucked out some still blooming flowers that lined the main entrance to the mansion.Eira returned to the couch and found the warlock on his knees, his eyes closed and lips moving silently in some type of enchantment. She did not wait for his command and with a spell of her own, turned the flowers into a thin paste between her palms and let the drop trickle down into the slashes over Nate's chest. The blood flowing from it dried i
[EIRA]With a snap of her fingers, the ropes keeping Damien bound to the chair vanished before her eyes. His clothes were completely soaked in sweat and Eira still saw the few burns that covered the exposed skin of his arms. The pale moonlight entering past the open windows soaked into his face giving it a dangerous gleam. His hair was a curled mess, concealing parts of his sharp, pale face, including his eyes that were closed. He lay there, so still that for a moment, the witch feared he was dead. She sensed Nate tensing beside her and knew he was thinking the same. When she tugged at the vampire's shoulder, his unconscious body fell off the chair and his face collided against the cold floor. A groan left his parched lips. Eira ignored his helpless state completely, unable to let go of the sore pain in her own chest. Nate instinctively reached forward to lift him up, but when Eira passed him a look, he stilled again."He d
[EIRA]The night slipped away peacefully for Eira who was wrapped the whole time in Nate's arms. She felt happy and safe in his embrace. When the first rays of sunshine met her face, she woke with a smile. But it did not last there for long. While her sleep was dreamless the previous night, she still intended to tell about her previous ones to Josh. The circle of thirteen witches. All with disfigured faces but one.Eira had doubted once if her dreams meant anything. The warlock that introduced her to all of witchcraft had once mentioned that she may be a seer. That she may have the ability to see things, those which other eyes could not. Things from the past and the future. She did not believe him then, not fully atleast, but the events from the previous night had done enough to grant proof for his words. Her recurring dream of running from a wolf in the red Bloodivy woods of the Centaurus forest beneath a full moon was a vision, a warning of some kind f
[EIRA]“Why are we going to the dungeons?” She said with suspicion in her voice, but her feet moved readily, falling easily into Damien’s footprints. For a moment Eira thought they were going to Josh’s workroo
[EIRA]Carena’s voice echoed in her ears and she realised what her words meant; the sapphire gem in Dana’s bracelet was the other part of the Videns viribus. It would fit perfectly in the bone that was possessed by the werewolves, completing the talisman and thus granting them the power to attack. She knew what she had to do and she had to do it fast. However, the scene faded away in front of her eyes before she could do anything. The sun scurried down the horizon and within a blinking the full moon graced the sky. When Eira’s eyes lowered from the sky, she saw that the field was gone and was replaced by the Centaurus forest. The wind blowing swayed the branches of the Bloodivy trees that proudly stood high from the ground, and in the centre of the groove, she found the circle of the thirteen witches. They were holding each other's hands and chanting in unison. Someone’s agonising cries filled the night sky. Eira knew she had no time to waste but she barely had the ability to control

[RAVEN]When Raven woke up that morning, she could not help but notice the unusual quiet surrounding her. The ruins of the Black Castle, now known as the Black Hall, housed a hundred town vampires, most of which were labelled with the Mark of Aurora. As soon as the sun rose, they would bustle around
[RAVEN]"We need to leave today, Alex. Have you packed yet? Or you need any help?" She said swaying her arms around, pretending to ignore the lines on his forehead."How dare you?" Alexander barked at her before she could draw in a single breath.Raven stared into his eyes, her brows raised in confusion. "Is everything okay?"His jaws clenched together tighthly, making her frown. What had made him this angry in the morning?"How dare you betray me?" He shouted at her with a voice that made her flinch. "I raised you like my own daughter, took you in when the people who you shared blood with cursed and kicked you out and this is how you repay me?""I don't know what you mean?" She raised her head but even she could not miss the uncertainty in her own voice."Claudia, Nigel, Ben, Will. Is that enough or do I need to elaborate?" The vein of his temple seemed ready to burst any second. But all she really cared about at that moment was how
[JOSH]Even ten days after the massacre at the Black Hall, not a single soul involved that day could stop thinking about how all of it could've been prevented if only a few trustful, true words had been exchanged. The effect was seen on each one. Many lost their lives and many others people who they cared about. The signs of recovery however were blooming all around. People were forgiven for their bad deeds out of the kindness of the hearts of those who had been at the suffering end. Surprising to Josh, Eira had been strangely calm about having Raven in the mansion. The latter refused to return to the Black Hall and although she denied it, the warlock knew, deep inside she was mourning for Alexander. Nate—another surprise to him—had been chosen to represent the vampires in the supernatural coucil. The bloodsuckers had been oddly agreeable and united about peace—again another surprise for the warlock."Are you giving up already?" Josh asked when he saw Eira lazily throw the herbs in

[JOSHUA]The only way was to escape. They could neither not stop the hoard of vampires nor the werewolves. There were too many of them. And the witches had his mind in a knot. How could he somehow get rid of them? They were only astral projecting. No spell could throw them off.
[EIRA]The moment she felt her feet touch the solid ground, Eira was pushed off balance. A stake she had stuffed in her pocket fell to the floor. She opened her eyes and gasped loudly.
[EIRA]Josh held her arm as she inched closer to Damien. The vampire suddenly dropped to his knees and covered his face. He was crying.Trish's corpse lay in front of them, her eyes wid
