Shaking her head, Eira stared at him with a gaping mouth which continued to bleed. "What do you mean?" Eira responded in an grave tone, her face puzzled.
"Don't act like you don't know. You're a witch! Have you forgotten that?"
She shook her head and raising her chin, answered, "No, Josh. I haven't. What does it have to do with me and Nate kissing?"
His lips quivered and brows descended, knitting closer. "It has everything to do with it. He's an abomination to nature. You can't be with him."
When Eira noticed her eyes welling up with tears, she held her head in her hand. "Are you even listening to what you're saying? He's your friend! How can you say that?"
