Davi thought that when having an interview, it would be the owner of the store that will do it. What will happen to him then?
He was not looking for a backer. He knew he should do it through his skills but a backer will be much more useful! Who wouldn’t want it? besides, wouldn’t it be a hundred times better if he knew the person he was talking to even if it’s a little or if you live under the same roof?
A new world opened in front of him.
When Davi was applying for a part-time job to finance his studies it was always the owner of the store that will interview him. For example, the owner of the convenience store. For example, the owner of the fish stall. For example, the owner of a second-hand clothing store.
Why was it different with Liam?! I guess the rich do it differently.
“So- so is the HR s-strict?”
What was the scariest thing that an introvert like Davi was afraid of? Yes. It was to meet new people. A stranger!
He could muster up the courage to talk to Liam because he doesn’t have a choice. And again, he doesn’t have a choice but to build up the courage to pass the interview and earn his ten million divorce fees!
Such a life. That alpha should just divorce me instead!
“What do you think the HR w-will ask?”
He wanted to appear confident but his eyes full of anxiety betrayed him. His fingers fidgeted unconsciously and it was all caught by Liam’s eagle eyes.
Ever since Davi live in the mansion the butler had to report everything he does. What he ate, what time he left his room, and how many times he went out. Which food was eaten more and which was not touched at all.
His conscience told him to at least watch the poor omega in silence but this was a very rare moment that he saw how anxious Davi was.
The poor omega might have a heart attack if he says the HR was a strict beta in her forties.
“You’ll be fine. Relax.”
It was an attempt to comfort the omega. While he says so, Liam took out his phone and type a few words before sending it. “However, based on your qualification, don’t expect a high position.”
If he could, no one can stop him to give Davi a high position. He was his cousin’s legal partner and part of Noah but it would be hard for the omega to take in. So, he plans to not give him special treatment inside the company.
“I’m not!” Davi said with enthusiasm. His eyes sparkled. He was not a brain-sick fool to think he will be in a high position. He knew not to eat more than he could chew.
The ride to the company was a bit noisy with Davi’s rumbling. He was practicing his answer with the basic question he could remember from the past interviews he had.
“Why should we hire you?” said Davi in a neutral tone, mimicking a strict HR in his imagination.
Davi, “Hire me because I’m a hard-working guy. I take my inhibitors on time and I can do any job very well.”
Davi pretending to be HR, nodded his head in agreement, “En. En. We love hard-working omegas.” he paused for a while and spout another question, “How much salary do you expect to receive?”
Davi, scratching his chin and pretending to think hard, “… because I’m hard working and a responsible omega who does not cause public chaos… two million a month will do!”
Liam who was busy typing on his phone, miraculously choked and the car seemed to sway for a second.
If he could have a salary of two million a month and find another part-time work at night then, he could save the ten million in four months! He just has to endure it for four months.
“Two million…” Liam repeated.
“Is it too low? If I say three million, will you approve it?” As the president, Davi had an idea that Liam could surely approve the salary bracket for each employee. That’s what the other part-time job owners he had in the past do.
The phone in his hand turned black and was put back into his inside pocket. The movement was slow but graceful and one will not be bored to watch Liam’s movement. But not Davi of course.
“What will you do with your salary?”
Liam had a great understanding of Davi’s family situation. His gambler and drunkard father. His pretentious brother loves to spend money and buy women. He knew what Davi had to bear after buying the omega.
So, he was thinking that maybe Davi will use it to help his family. A pushover. If he does, then he might scold the omega this time and preach about self-worth.
“For my divorce, heh.”
The cheerful atmosphere suddenly turned even sunny but the driver was sweating after hearing the omega’s answer. He was brave, the driver thought.
“Oh.”
“Okay.”
Divorce. The little demon omega was determined to divorce his cousin and that he was willing to work in his own company. He fixed his eyes on the road and after a while, a smile was pasted on his face.
If he thought about it… he was indirectly paying for the divorce fee. What a cunning omega.
The company was a twenty minutes ride from the mansion. It was located in the center of the city and was the highest building built in the area. The Noah’s had all kinds of business and was one of the old money in the country.
Using the VIP elevator from the parking lot, Liam and Davi went up straight to the president’s office but after Davi got out of the elevator, he was again led to the other elevator.
“Where-“
“Young master, you have an interview on the fifth floor.” Said the assistant of Liam who was waiting for them outside the elevator. “Please, I’ll take you there.”
He was familiar with the face of the man in front of him but he can’t remember where he saw him so when they were walking to the elevator, Davi’s eyes were fixed on the assistant.
Noticing the obvious stare, the assistant said, “I was there when you registered your marriage, young master.” He was soft-spoken and well-mannered. “I’m Alexis.”
“Oh. Alexis, I remember.” He nodded his head as if he really does remember but of course, he does not at all. He only saw the guy for a minute and never again.
When they reached the fifth floor, the HR was already waiting in the conference room. As far as HR knew, Davi was an important person and the President had to remind her several times not to be strict and to smile!
It was tough work.
“Good morning, Alexis, is this our applicant?” With much effort, she spoke slowly and softly but it only sounds like a robot to Davi’s ears. “What a lovely guy.”
“Good m-morning. I’m Davi Abram.”
In his resume, he wrote Abram instead of Noah. They will divorce soon; he dares not use Noah. It was a heavy name anyway.
Inside the conference, hot milk was served with water on the side. Another world was opened to Davi. In the past, the store owners did not even make him sit and interview him directly. Rich people did it differently for real, he thought.
As the interview progresses, Davi was stunned to realize that all questions he had practiced were asked to him. Good thing he readies himself and a good thing he had an experience before.
The interview only took one hour with half of the hour spent praising the omega’s answer and the HR forcing a smile. She also had to make up a reason why they offer him a three million salary for being a janitor.
With all the deductions of the tax, health insurance and so on that made his three million into two million. Nevertheless, Davi was happy that he could help the government and have his insurance.
He came out of the conference and another assistant was waiting for him guiding him to the parking lot. “the president said to rest today and to start working tomorrow. Good luck young master.”
Only the staff on the Presiden’s floor knew about Davi with the Head Assistant’s briefing but aside from them, other employees must not know about it.
“Okay.”
Since he was ten years old, Davi was already exposed to working and cleaning so there was nothing to prepare for tomorrow. He will use this time to find another job for the weekend first.
Based on the workload in the day, he will decide if he will get a part-time job every night.
After all, ten million was useless if he fell ill!
Author has something to say:
Davi: I'm a hardworking OMEGA!
Liam: My baby works hard all night~~ chuuu
Walking out of the elevator, Davi did not head over to where the car was parked. It was not all the time that he could stroll around the city so freely. It was already a year since he saw the bustling area of this side of the country. When he was working before, he could only watch as the teens his age walks in a group while laughing and talking about nonsensical topics. He never had a chance to experience that. He never even had a friend to call his own.The high-rise buildings were standing left and right but it does not stop the sun to shine so brightly on him. It must have been saying ‘congratulations!’ on the new life and job he got. A high school graduate but working for a top company was already something he could just dream of before. Today, he was hired as a janitor with a two million clean salary. He was happy beyond compare. Passing through a cake shop, he stopped on his foot and stared at the beautifully designed cake from small to largest. It was impeccable for him th
The next morning, Davi woke up earlier than usual. It was the excitement kicking in. Last night, after Liam left outside the door he watched more videos that could help him in modeling food. Then, he watched a video that will help him become a good janitor! In the video, the guy tied his hair in a man-bun and his mask, then his gloves and face the camera to say, “Let’s do this!” The guy then started to check his cleaning materials, refilled the bottles with fewer cleaning liquids, and left to start his day in a five floors building. While cleaning, the guy explained how to get rid of this kind and that kind of stains. He learned a lot and he felt that he was more ready to start his new career. When the video finished it was already midnight. “Good morning!” he said while sitting at the dining table. “I’ll eat more today so I could have more energy to clean!” He was enthusiastic that Liam had to raise his eyes to watch him.He had not seen anybody from a rich family happy to work a
The sudden stop in his sentence and creasing of his brows made Alexis thought that there might be another problem that arises. It has been a long day before the day even begins. Another problem means another late-night work. “Is something wrong, President?” Liam closed his phone, and continued on his walk as if nothing happened, as if he heard nothing but when they reached the door, he stopped and uttered, “Do new employees need to have welcome parties?” Alexis made a blank look before answering, “President, it has been a culture.” The door creaked and the huge office came into view. On the side was a sofa and a little coffee table. On the other side were cabinets full of trophies and certificates of awards given to the company but mostly to Liam as an outstanding entrepreneur, a rookie businessman, and many others. “Then, why am I not invited to any of it?” The chair he was sitting on was leather, a sturdy one which he likes the most. The number of documents he needed to sign pi
When the time to clock out came, the three members of their small team rejoice turning the small resting area into a chaotic jungle. Brian was planning everything for the welcoming party later while Kelly was rejecting all his ideas. Davi would like to join the conversation but he does not know where to insert. First, he was embarrassed to say something wrong and second, he does not want to interrupt the excited Brian. Even though he felt these, he also felt happiness in his heart. This was his first outing with a workmate and he wanted to try his best not to become the cause of an awkward atmosphere. In reality, even if he wanted to speak, his heart won't allow him to. At this very moment, Davi's heart was pounding so fast from anger and other feelings he can't explain. His face was red from all the suppression of his emotion. An hour before he clocked out. Davi went to the storage room to return his and Mama Chu's cleaning materials. Each one of them had a push cart where everyt
Davi remembered that night when he first saw Liam. The alpha was wearing a three-piece suit with shiny shoes. He entered the loan sharks office full of the musty smell and cigarette smoke. The alpha’s beauty and bearing were out of place, one could not help but notice him. Even in his desperate and miserable state, Davi still had a chance to admire his beauty. However, that was all. “How much is he?” That was the first words he heard from the alpha’s lips. A voice so soothing to the ear but the words he spoke were like daggers, his voice full of cold and chill. “Has he been touched?” “H-he’s still a virgin, Mr. Noah.” The President of the loan shark quivered at every question that Liam spoke that day. “I’ll take him.” No matter how much he admire Liam’s beauty, it was all a shame that the alpha was another perverted bastard that wanted his body. What else can an alpha want from a nobody like him? Liam was obviously a rich man… he could have any omega he wanted. Surely, he will
Working in the company as a utility worker was not the same. Others started their work at four in the morning, others at seven, and very few at ten o’clock in the morning. They were the very last person to leave the company, ensuring that everything was clean before closing. They were also the people who knew most of the gossip inside the company, who partnered with who, who relieves their lust in the bathroom, and who were against who. Nothing could escape their ears but it was also their silent policy to keep their mouth shut. After all, having a job was better than living as unemployed. They were walking in the hallway and like it was a hobby, Mama Chu kept checking every corner they pass through and wiping it if she sees even a tiny stain, “Kiddo if ever you see two people in the corner where cameras don’t reach, run.” She pat his shoulder and added, “Don’t listen to people’s secrets. It is for your safety.”Brian and Kelly nodded in agreement to what Mama Chu's said, "Yeap, l
The mansion was well-lit outside. Just entering the huge gate, there will be lights lined up to brighten the path. On the left side of the gate, just five meters away was a small pond with different colors of koi fish. Surrounding it was yellow light enough for someone strolling to see the wiggling of the small and big koi. If one walked further, a hundred square meter pagoda was standing condescendingly as if telling people to look at it, I’m built to protect! It was so arrogant that the corner of it shone even during the night. On the right side of the gate was a wide lawn that could be used for games, picnics, and parties. Located further from this was a small natural forest preserve and well taken care of. A few fruit trees were added and sometimes servants came here to pick fresh fruits in season. The mansion was not in the center but situated in front of the small pond and if one stand outside the balcony, this was the view one would see. At this moment, Liam was standing
The shoot started. The table was neatly arranged and the props were balanced not overpowering the cakes on the table. There were two pre-arranged tables, one table carried a bright concept and the other a dark concept. “Think happy thoughts while you slice the cake” the photographer instructed. Before they started, Davi honestly told the photographer that he had no experience in front of the camera. So, he was nervous that he might not do well but Reynolds assured him that all he needed was to eat the cake and listen to the photographer’s guidance. Remembering what he had watched for the past week, Davi finally had a bit of confidence in his heart. When he heard that he should think happy thoughts, Davi paused. All he could remember was a struggle, his father's angry drunk talk and his brother’s incessant asking for money, the classmates that laughs at him for being meek, and the day his father sold him… he realized he had never had a happy day in his twenty years of life. It was
In the bustling City, the Salvians family was known far and wide for their successful business empire. At the helm of their company, Salvians Enterprises, were the parents, Davi and Cade Salvians, who were renowned for their innovative ideas and fearless leadership. As the years passed, their children, James and Olivia, had grown into capable young adults, each with their own unique strengths and talents. James, the eldest, was a charismatic and driven alpha, with a natural flair for business and a sharp mind for strategy. Olivia, the youngest, was a compassionate and resourceful omega, with a keen eye for detail and a gift for connecting with others. Despite their busy schedules, Davi and Cade made sure to instill in their children the importance of family and unity. And so, when the time came for them to take over the reins of the family business, James and Olivia rose to the challenge with determination and grace. With Davi and Cade often jet-setting around the globe on business
In the dimly lit room, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, two men stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of desire. Alexis and Reynolds had been dancing around their attraction for months, and tonight, they had decided to explore their desires even more deeply. Deeper than that on the island.Reynolds, with his tall, lean frame, approached Alexis, his gaze smoldering with intensity. Alexis, feeling a surge of anticipation, held his breath as Reynolds reached out and gently traced the outline of his jaw with his fingertips."Are you sure about this?" Reynolds whispered, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down Alexis's spine.Alexis nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. "Yes, I trust you."With a tender smile, Reynolds took a length of red ribbon from the nearby table and lifted Alexis's hands, binding them together with care and precision. The sensation of the silky ribbon against his skin sent waves of arousal coursing through Alexis's body, and
The temperature tonight was high, and the passers on the street slowly transitioned from thick clothes to warm ones. Thin jackets and sweaters, holding hot drinks in their hands as they walk to their destination. Reynolds shop was located at the center surrounded by tall buildings which lit beautifully at night. There were only two remaining customers eating and he would be done for the night. All cakes baked for today were completely bought except for one hidden in the corner. It was coated with thick cream, white, and very sweet. The box was exquisitely made making sure the cake won’t be ruined. Below the cake was a big shopping bag full of red stuff, some were poking and some silently lay on the bottom of the bag. As the night grows, the lights outside brighten and the sound of the people talking heightened. Cling. The sound of the wind chime echoed as the door opened and closed signaling that the two customers leaving the shop. Now, it was time to rest for the night. The st
The morning light shone through the seep of the window, the white thick curtains couldn’t contain the brightness the sun was freely offering. Aside from the musky smell of love that lingers in the air, the scent of the sea creeps through the room, giving freshness and warmth. On the floor were the scattered clothes tossed without care, some buttons flown in different directions, blanket draping on the edge seeming to hang on to its dear life. It was chaotic yet the two people closely lying together seemed to be out of place in the midst of this all. A sense of sweetness and gentleness hovers around the two naked bodies, the face of peace and comfort evident in their tight embrace.Alexis’s hair was ruffled, bed heads sticking out while his face was buried in Reynolds’s chest. He likes it there, he likes the smell of the alpha embracing him like a treasure. His eyes were closed but his mind was wide awake, afraid to move in case he would disturb the tired alpha in front of him. Last
The arrival of the three bundles of joy, affectionately named Zado, Zufri, and Zefrid, turned their lives into a whirlwind of giggles, spilled milk, and sleepless nights. Davi reveled in the joy of fatherhood, his heart swelling with love as he held each tiny hand in his. Liam, a beacon of patience and warmth, embraced the challenges of raising three little ones with unwavering grace. However, his big baby is still his priority. Days were a symphony of laughter and discovery as the triplets embarked on their adventures through the living room turned playground, the kitchen turned battleground and bath time turned water play. From crayon masterpieces on the walls to impromptu tea parties with stuffed animals. At times, the triplets will play as knights protecting their precious princess against mini lions and crocodiles! Just like that, the Noah household became a canvas painted with the vibrant hues of childhood exuberance. A safe space for the little ones to move freely. Bedtime
In the dimly lit room, the air was thick with tension, laced with the unmistakable scent of agony. Beads of sweat glistened on his furrowed brow as he clutched the edges of the bed, knuckles turning white. The omega’s labored breaths filled the room, mingling with the muttered curses that escaped his lips between each wave of pain. The walls seemed to close in, amplifying the echoes of his distress. The omega’s eyes, clouded with pain and frustration, shot daggers at the alpha pacing anxiously nearby. At that moment, the bond that connected them felt more like a chain, each pang of pain only strengthening the resentment that simmered beneath the surface. As the omega’s grip tightened on the bed, a particularly sharp contraction seized him, and a string of curses erupted from his lips. He cast an accusatory glare at the alpha, blaming him for the torment that wracked his body. In the dance between life and birth, the omega cursed the very alpha who had played a part in bringing this
The moon outside rose at its peak and the wavy reflection of it in the sea gives light to the dancing fishes under the water. With the swaying of the waves comes the sound of the water washed ashore. The two people sitting on the sand a while ago now entered the closed room minding the needs of their bodies and the call of their hearts. Two couples, two sets of bodies touching, caressing, and giving in to the wild needs of their hungry desire. Two couples, each with their ways to relieve their needs. Separated by one thick wall, each moan was suppressed in their own closed doors. “Inside… release d-deep inside me…” Davi was sitting above Liam on that tiny couch, guided by Liam’s hands his body went up and down, trembling with exhaustion but still wanting to eat more of his alpha’s substance. “Mmm, so big… inside… haaa… mark… mark me.” His mind had so much thought, he wanted Liam to cum inside and he also wanted Liam to mark him. A while ago he also wanted Liam to thrust harder
As a newlywed couple, sleeping on the couch on your wedding night was a no-no. “Okay,” Liam said, lifting Davi in a bridal carry and walking towards the direction of their room. Davi was struggling though not much as he was also anticipating the things that would unfold tonight. The guest that was left cheered as the couple left not wanting to be a cockblockers. They cheered until Liam’s back was nowhere in sight. “Sleeping on the couch seems a good idea,” he said as he walked. The door was a few meters away and used a key card so it was easy for him to open. “It’s soft but tiny, I can make it work.” His eyes are full of evil lust hidden under the lashes. Tonight, the couch will bear witness to the love he had for his now husband, his omega, his beloved. Davi kept his mouth shut lest he say triggering words that would make him beg and sob all night. He knew what Liam’s mighty weapon could do and he knew what his waist could endure! Ah, stamina. Davi can only wish he survived the n
Everything went smoothly. The transfer of position was no sweat and the preparation for the wedding proceeded as planned. After some time passed, the wedding day came. There were only close friends during the wedding. Even the board of directors was not invited. In total, the guest can be counted in one’s hand. They opted for a solemn and intimate wedding, despite the preparations and decoration, it was not considered grandiose compared to some. Despite not having his own family at his wedding, Davi was not sad at all. The people that he is close with are here, his alpha is here and that’s enough for him. The reception was served with unlimited beverages and food. There were dancing and singing, the atmosphere was lively and the splash of the waves from the sea liven the mood even more. Tingtingting… The dance was interrupted and the people focused their eyes on the stage. Alexis was standing in front with a glass and spoon in hand, “Let me take this opportunity to say some
