Dylan arrived at his company, a mobile production firm in the city, where he was well-known and had foreign partners. He parked his Honda Jeep in the company lot and made his way into the five-story building, heading up to the third floor where his office was located.
Settling into his office chair, he resumed his work for the day. After finishing his tasks and meeting with several top partners and clients interested in his brand and new product models, Dylan finally relaxed in his executive black seat. Just then, he received a phone call from Rosie Andrew, who was excited to know if Jessica had finally signed the divorce papers.
"Hello, babe. Good morning," Rosie said cheerfully into the phone.
Dylan glanced at his phone screen and replied, "Good morning, sweetheart. How was your night?"
"Not good without you here with me," Rosie shamelessly replied in a more seductive voice. Dylan swallowed hard and slowly loosened his necktie to relieve some tension.
"I'm sorry, but you know I can't keep sleeping away from home. It could ruin my reputation if my customers and fans find out," he explained.
Rosie fell silent on the other end, frowning. Finally, she replied, "Don't you love me enough, Dylan? Why do you care more about your fans than me?"
"No, babe, don't get it wrong. You know if I don't settle my marriage issue with Jessica amicably and make it clear that I'm no longer married to her, some fans might get angry and try to ruin my business. I can't allow that to happen, especially since Jessica played a vital role in my business and success," Dylan said, trying to clarify his position.
Rosie's frown deepened as she realized she no longer loved Dylan; she only wanted his money. She couldn't believe that he had become wealthy again, bouncing back to be a billionaire after experiencing poverty.
Rosie recalled how Dylan's parents had been rich, but his father had been scammed by a foreign woman who took all his wealth, leaving Dylan and his siblings in poverty. Rosie had been younger then, just 19 years old when Dylan's family lost everything, and she couldn't stand the fact that her boyfriend of three years had turned poor overnight. He could no longer afford to buy her expensive gifts.
When the opportunity arose for her to travel abroad to further her education, she wasted no time leaving and didn't tell Dylan about it. She avoided breaking up with him face-to-face, pretending to still love him while she was away, sleeping with other men. She only spoke to him on the phone and refused to return to the city until now.
It had been nine years since Rosie left the country, leaving Dylan and their relationship behind. Now that she was back at her parents' house, she found that her family was no longer wealthy since her father's company had been bought by Mr. Luke Albert.
Rosie researched Mr. Luke Albert, the billionaire who had acquired her father's company, helping him clear his debts in exchange for the business. She discovered that Mr. Albert was an elderly man with two sons and a daughter. While researching his sons, Rosie stumbled upon Dylan's profile page and learned that he was married to Mr. Luke Albert's daughter, making him Mr. Luke Albert's first son-in-law, as none of Mr. Albert's sons were married and they avoided scandals.
Rosie was shocked to see that Dylan was already married, viewing his wedding photo with his beautiful wife. Not only that, but Dylan was also a billionaire with a multimillion-dollar company and two children.
"How is this possible?" Rosie thought to herself in disbelief, realizing that Dylan was no longer the poor guy she had assumed he would become.
Without wasting time, she copied Dylan's company address, thinking it best to see him in his office, now confident that he was the same man she had dated ten years ago.
Rosie visited Dylan at DY Group, faking tears as she cried to him upon entering his executive office. She accused Dylan of cheating on her, claiming he couldn't wait for her to return to the country before marrying another woman and forgetting all the love they had shared.
Rosie hadn't expected Dylan to accept her back so easily; she thought he still loved Mr. Luke Albert's daughter more than her or their past relationship. However, Dylan welcomed her, saying, "It's not how you’re seeing it, Rosie. I still love you, but I met my wife, and she helped me become the man I am today."
"And what about me, Dylan? What about us? Our promise, the love we shared, my virginity that you took? How could you do this to me? I was hoping that once I returned to the city, we would get married. How could you move on so easily and forget about me?" Rosie threw a barrage of questions at him, trying to make Dylan feel guilty for their failed relationship, even though she had ignored his calls.
At one point, Dylan had even asked Rosie for a loan to help him establish himself, but Rosie refused, cursing him in her mind for not being able to support himself. "How can I be the one sponsoring my man? Doesn’t he see his peers taking care of their women? Stupid man."
Rosie cried during her visit to Dylan's office, and Dylan ultimately accepted her back. She provided him with her new home address, stating she was no longer living with her parents.
Although Rosie had a boyfriend named Frederick Joseph, who wasn't wealthy, she saw that Dylan still loved her. She planned to take advantage of his wealth to help establish her boyfriend, Frederick instead. Rosie resented Dylan for becoming successful without marrying her first, instead choosing Jessica.
Rosie ensured she helped Dylan prepare the divorce papers so that she could have him all to herself. This way, it would be easy for her to manipulate him, and no one would suspect her as the mastermind especially when she eventually broke up with him again.
"What about the divorce papers I gave you last night, Dylan? Have you given them to your wife, Jessica Albert, to sign? I mean, to leave your house?" Rosie asked.
"I have given her the divorce papers, but Jessica isn't feeling well this morning. She needs some time to go through them before she can sign. And why didn't you include that she would take 50% of my company's revenue and take care of our kids? Didn't you know I have two kids?" Dylan asked, sounding surprised.
Rosie pretended not to know. "I don't know, Dy, but isn't her family wealthy? What does she need your money for?"
Dylan was silent for a moment before responding, "No, Rosie. Jessica can't go empty-handed like that. She helped me build this company, and her parents won’t take it lightly if I just divorce her without sharing everything we have."
"So what do you want to do now?" Rosie asked, trying not to sound too desperate or annoyed on the phone.
"I'll prepare new divorce papers later and contact my lawyer to get them ready. Jessica doesn't want to divorce me either," Dylan replied.
"She has to, Dylan. I'm supposed to be your wife, not her. Let her go back to her parents' house," Rosie spat.
"Hmm," Dylan hummed. "It’s okay, babe. You have nothing to worry about."
Rosie finally pretended to be calm, saying, "Dylan, you know I love you very much. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you all this time. Life hasn't been easy for me living abroad. During that time when you called me for help, things got worse for me too. My dad's company collapsed and was bought, and I was struggling abroad."
"It's okay, Rosie. I know all that; I saw it in the news. Don’t worry, I'll come over to your house today after work, so be expecting me," Dylan said, and Rosie giggled.
"Okay, sweetheart, I'll be expecting you. What do you want me to prepare for you?" Rosie asked.
"You can cook now?" Dylan asked in surprise.
"Yeah, I learned how to cook abroad. After things became tough, buying prepared food was too expensive, and it didn't fill me up," Rosie replied.
"Okay, just prepare whatever you can. If not, I’ll order dinner so you don’t exhaust yourself cooking. I don’t want you to get lazy in bed, so you can satisfy me however I want tonight," Dylan said, a sweet smile forming on his face as he imagined making passionate love to Rosie when he finally arrived at her house.
"Okay, babe, the bill is on you, and I’ll be expecting you. Goodbye and kisses," Rosie said, blowing kisses over the phone.
Dylan reciprocated with kisses before the call finally ended.
Dylan smiled after his phone call with Rosie ended and resumed his office work for the rest of the day as he awaited the night to fall and the clock to strike 5 PM.Meanwhile, Rosie was at her house when she received a phone call from her boyfriend, Frederick Joseph. "Hello, babe..." he greeted her over the phone."Hi, sweetheart," Rosie replied, knowing that Frederick was aware of her relationship with Dylan and that she was cheating on him with a married man. She had previously explained to Frederick that she was doing all of this to help him get the money he needed to establish himself with Dylan's assistance."Have you gotten the money from him, babe?" Frederick asked impatiently."No, babe... You know it will take some time. I don't want Dylan to suspect anything between us or think that I don't love him," she replied."Hmm, but he's sleeping with you, babe. What if he finds out about the baby growing in your womb? Can't you just ask him for the money directly, or tell him to lend
Dylan left the phone company earlier and drove to Rosie's house, where she lived alone in her rented apartment. He couldn't wait to get into bed with her.He had already collected the food he ordered online and drove quickly to Rosie's place, eager to make passionate love to her.Rosie was in the living room of her rented apartment, where only four tenants lived in the one-story building. She paced around the room, thinking about how to ask Dylan for money while waiting for him to arrive. She had already called him to check where he was, and he told her he was on his way.Soon, Rosie heard the sound of a car honking behind her house gate. The security guard, who was familiar with Dylan's face, opened the gate for him, even though he didn't know exactly who Dylan was.Dylan drove into the compound and parked his car. He stepped out and walked up to Rosie's door while holding the package containing the two takeaway meals he had ordered from the best restaurant in the city. He rang the do
Rosie smiled and giggled as she walked into the kitchen. "Yes!" she squealed, quickly lowering her voice so Dylan wouldn't hear her. Excitedly, she approached the plate hanger and took out a large plate. Grabbing a small spoon, she walked back into the living room to meet Dylan.Dylan was still sitting on the black couch, waiting majestically for Rosie to return. He had loosened his trouser belt and stared at her with desire clearly written in his eyes as she approached. He helped her sit beside him and resumed kissing her on the lips and then her neck, but she stopped him, saying, "Dylan... This can wait."Dylan gulped back his desire, noticing that Rosie's eyes were glued to the package containing the food he had brought. He stood up from the couch and dragged the center table closer to them.He opened the food package and poured its contents onto the large plate Rosie had retrieved from the kitchen.Dylan had never served Jessica before; even when he was poor, Jessica was always the
Rosie sat silently beside Dylan on the couch, and she slowly caressed his hairy chest as she rested her head back against him. After a while of silence between them, as the television continued to speak in the living room, Rosie asked Dylan, "So what are you saying about the money, babe? Please, I really need it to help my brother."Dylan was silent, as the amount of money Rosie was requesting from him was substantial. Not wanting to have any issues with her, he kissed her forehead as she looked up at his face. He told her, "I will give it to you tomorrow morning and send it to your account. Are you happy now?""Yes, Dylan! I love you so much!" Rosie squealed as she immediately sealed her lips against his own, and she kissed him passionately. Her left hand slid downward into the white towel around his waist to caress his member there, too.Rosie brought out Dylan's member and bent down to pleasure it with her mouth, sucking him hard, while he moaned as he was on cloud nine with her. Th
Dylan looked at Rosie's face as he's taller than her. Rosie wasn't up to Jessica's height either, as Jessica is very tall and though Jessica is reaching Dylan's shoulder, Rosie is a short lady as she manages to reach Dylan's chest.Dylan replied, "I will send it to your account. Do you have a bank account number?"Rosie smiled and replied, "Yes."Rosie was still wearing her almost transparent white nightgown. Dylan stared at her beautiful yellow body through her see-through nightgown; he wants her again and knew that sex would be the end of him soon."Let me give you my brother's account number instead, so that you can directly just send the money to him," Rosie said, and Dylan didn't protest as he only replied to her, "Okay."Rosie took up her phone and showed Dylan the account number that belongs to her supposed boyfriend, Frederick Joseph.Dylan sat on the bed with Rosie and did a cash transfer of 1 million dollars into the account number that Rosie had shown him.Rosie is all smile
"Uncle!" Caleb and Nina both exclaimed as they rushed into Remy's arms and hugged him.Remy smiled at Caleb and Nina; he crouched to meet their height, and Nina smiled at him shyly."How are you both doing? Where is your mummy?" Remy asked the little children as he finally looked at Caleb's face too."Good morning, Uncle; Mummy is coming," Caleb answered.Remy replied, "Okay."Jessica walked into her room and changed her nightgown into a respectable brown gown for a rich female. She was going to her children's school, and she walked up to her room mirror to examine her looks.Jessica saw that her face looked dull, and she sighed as she quickly combed her long blonde hair and packed it into a bun. She finally took her car key out from the bed drawer. She took her debit card too and her phone along with her as she put it all into her red purse and finally exited the master bedroom.Walking downstairs into the living room, Jessica gasped in surprise as she saw one of her elder brothers, R
Dylan had to drive out in his own car to the hospital too, as he didn't know what had happened to Jessica. He followed closely from behind until he arrived at the hospital, and he hadn't even changed his suit yet nor taken off his coat.Remy rushed into the hospital lobby with Jessica in his arms, and the female nurses on duty quickly brought out a stretcher. They took Jessica away from him into the ward and asked Remy to register her name.Remy glared at Dylan, who walked into the hospital Outpatients Department to meet him.Dylan quickly registered Jessica's name, as she was still his wife, and even though he wanted to divorce Jessica, he didn't wish her death. A doctor attended to Jessica in the private ward that she was taken to.The male doctor stabilized Jessica's heart and body while a drip was connected to her left hand.Remy was angry to see the state in which his only sister was, as Jessica lay on the hospital bed in the private ward section of the hospital.Remy looked back
Dylan stared at his phone screen that rang out again, and he saw Rosie was the one calling him.He picked up Rosie's call, and she asked him, "Hi babe... I'm calling to know if you have gotten home safely?""Yes, I have, Rosie, thank you," Dylan replied as he sighed heavily.Rosie noticed that Dylan sounded somewhat bored, tired, and unhappy, and she nervously asked him, "What's the matter, Dy?"Rosie feared that Dylan had gotten to know the truth about her plot against him, and he responded, "Nothing, Rosie. I'm fine. Only that, as I came back home, Jessica's older brother was here, and he was fighting with me, and next, Jessica is in the hospital, but she's fine now."Dylan didn't want to tell Rosie yet about Jessica being pregnant with his child too.Rosie replied, "Jessica is pretending to be sick and doing all that so you wouldn't divorce her, Dy. What about your lawyer that you said you wanted to contact when you were leaving my house? Have you finally contacted the lawyer?""No,
