It was in the middle of the night when they arrived at the house, but the lights were still bright on. Oswald got off the car and they were about to drive back but Oswald said to them,

Now that you are here, why don’t you join me in my birthday celebration? My family is waiting inside.

Aires was against the idea but he still looked at Elsie for her opinion, Elsie sighed and looked at Oswald, somehow, she saw in his eyes as if they were pleading for her to stay. Before she realized, she was out of the car and beside him, Oswald smiled at this and they walked inside together.

In the hall, Tess was holding a tea cup that had no tea in it. She looked lifeless, as she stared at the door way. Hulda was waiting for him as well, she was sitting on a golden chair that had a cake on a table in front of it. when they both heard the steps coming from the door way, they both stood up.

Oswald entered first and Tess smiled in his way and Hulda started walking towards him but her steps stilled on the
