NOLAN.

The car pulled to a stop in front of the luxurious hotel and suites where my fiancee was hosting her birthday party. Chloe, my fiance, loved to go all out for events and I was all for it. Although, I had disappointed her and told her that I wouldn't make it back in time for her birthday since I'd been out of town for a few days.

“Welcome, sir.” The receptionist behind the counter got on her feet to bow to me and I rolled my eyes. Taking a glance at my phone, I exhaled. Time passed quickly and I was in a terrible mood.

“I’m sure my assistant already made my reservation so skip the formalities and get to the point. I want the best room in this place with a magnificent view.” I told her and she started to type something into her laptop.

She looked up and glanced at me, a frightened look on her face. “I’m sorry, sir but the best room with the beautiful view is booked already. Do you…” she tried to say before I interrupted her.

“Are you denying my request?” I narrowed my eyes at her and she kept her mouth shut. I wished them that my assistant, Dan was around. He knew exactly what to do and how to deal with shit like this.

“I’m sorry, sir. I will switch you up to the room now.” She started to type quickly. After a few seconds, she opened a drawer desk and handed me the key card. “Enjoy your stay, sir.” She added as I made my way to the elevator.

The elevator took me up to the top floor and I located my room immediately. As soon as I got into the room, I slammed the door and dropped my suitcase on the bed in the room. With an annoyed scowl on my face, I placed an order for my favorite alcoholic wine and it was brought to me in a few minutes.

“You are a disgrace to me, Nolan. A disgrace! You couldn't even bag us the deal we have been aiming for in years. You are a big mess!”

My father's words from earlier filtered into my mind and my mood dampened even more. My father was a big man, the owner of the wealthiest empire in the world. He was well-respected and well-valued. I had done everything I knew to please him, to seek his favor yet he never failed to remind me of how much of a failure I was. Always comparing me to that illegitimate son of his, Bradon.

I poured myself a full glass of wine and gulped half of it. In less than thirty minutes, I was on my sixth glass of wine. My head was getting heavy and my sight blurry yet my ears perked up when the door to my room opened and someone sauntered in before slamming the door. I almost didn't recognize who it was because the room was dark.

I exhaled as I stared at the silhouette of my woman, Chloe. She had started to take off her clothes which made me rise from my seat. Chloe just knew exactly what to do to make my night better. She must have known that I was in a terrible mood.

“What are you doing?” I asked her even though I knew exactly what she was doing. I grabbed her arm and she tried to wiggle free as she replied to me. Pushing her against the door, I sniffed in her vanilla strawberry feminine scent. Chloe had never worn that perfume before but it did smell marvelous on her. I couldn't resist the urge to bite her cheeks so I did.

“Well, baby, strip for me.” I slapped her ass when she turned around to tell me to help with the zipper of her clothes. She seemed unwary as I was, stumbling and almost falling to the floor. She also looked a bit different, definitely more curvy.

After helping to get her out of her clothes, I wrapped my arms around her and her bouncy tits rubbed against me. I kissed her long and hard and she kissed back, rubbing her hands against my growing erection. And when I bent her over and fucked her, I allowed her to take away all the pain I had buried myself in while she piped and moaned for me, sending me high and beyond.

“Fuck!”

I groaned as I finished off with her and she collapsed on the bed. A smile lit up my face. I managed to clean up and clean her up too since she immediately fell asleep before getting into bed with her with my arms wrapped around her.

*****

“You WHORE!”

My eyes flew open at that very loud voice as I felt the bed shift under me. At first, I could barely make out anything since my vision was still blurry but after blinking a few times, I was able to figure out who was crashing stuff in my room and yelling and screaming altogether.

“Chloe, what the fuck?!” I screamed back as I got up on the bed, staring in shock as she grabbed the glass vase on the table in the room and smashed it on the floor. This also made me realize that I was not in my room in my house but in a hotel.

“You slept with her?! You fucking slept with her!” She screamed again, breathing heavily as she pointed at someone I didn't see.

With my face scrunched up in confusion, I finally turned to who she was pointing at and my eyes widened at the lady seated, no, scooted at the edge of the bed with the duvet wrapped around her to cover up.

It only took me a second to realize what had happened.

“Fuck!”

I screamed, my eyes widened in disbelief as I shot out from the bed. Chloe had stopped screaming but she was still breathing very heavily.

“What the fuck did you do to me? How did I end up with you?” I tried to search my mind for what must have happened but it came out blank. I couldn't remember a single thing.

Chloe rushed at her younger sister and pulled her hair making the girl I had barely bothered to learn her name scream out in pain, crying and pleading.

“I didn't know…This was a setup. I'm not sure what happened.” She was screaming and pleading with Chloe. The door pushed open again and Mrs. Clarkson rushed in with her phone to pull Chloe away from her sister while I stood there still trying to understand how I got myself into this situation.

“This is a mess, mum. This bitch seduced my man. She seduced him.” Chloe started to cry as she took the phone from her mom to talk to someone. She didn't look at me as she rushed out of the room.

“GET OUT!” The woman screamed at Chloe younger sister. She didn't need to be told twice though as she rushed out of the room as quickly as she could with the covers wrapped around her.

“Mrs. Clarkson, I give you my word, I don't understand how this happened.” I started to explain the situation. I was yet to fully understand myself to the older woman who had started to get red in the face from anger.

“Oh, I know. That slut seduced you!” She declared. Exhaling loudly, she started to pace around the room. “And now the news about your affair with her has spread all over the world.”

“Excuse ME?”

“Someone must have walked in on you two last night and saw you two. There's video footage of you and her together doing unimaginable things,” she looked like she was going to vomit. “Your reputation is at stake, Nolan.” She sounded sorry.

My phone started to ring while she walked out of the room probably to find her oldest daughter and console her. My head had started to bang heavily with everything that had gone down. I picked up my phone and realized that it was my parents calling. My father to be specific.

Swallowing, I answered the call because not answering was another disappointment.

“What have you done?” he screamed at me as soon as I answered the call.

“I don't understand how it happened, father. This was all a setup.” I tried to explain to him but he wouldn't hear it.

“Our reputation is at stake. The company's reputation is at stake. Our family's name is at stake. My phones are blowing up. The press is everywhere. Do you know what they are saying?” he snapped. I gulped and shook my head even though he couldn't see me.

“They are saying that, “Nolan Westbrook caught in a steamy moment with Noble Man's daughter, Alanna Clarkson, the sister to his fiancee, Chloe Clarkson.”

I rubbed my face. This was deep shit.

“You have to fix this, Nolan. Immediately.” My mother spoke up and I bit my lower lip from asking how cause I knew she had a plan. She always have a plan, “You are going to have to let Chloe go and marry her younger sister and then let the media spin a perfect romance love story for you two.” She announced.

I was fucked. So fucked.

  • After Divorce, The Heiress Decides to Revenge   CLOSURE

NOLAN"Closure doesn't come from forgetting the past but from facing it head-on."The wind blew softly as we stood at Chloe's grave, the air filled with the scent of freshly turned earth and the distant hum of the city. It had taken us a long time to get here, to stand at this place with a sense of peace instead of anger or regret. I looked down at the headstone, its cold surface a stark reminder of all that had happened, all that we had lost and gained. In my arms, little Chloe stirred, her tiny hands grasping at the air. She was so innocent, unaware of the twisted history that brought her into this world. But that was how it would stay. Alanna and I had promised each other that this child, this beautiful little girl, would never know the darkness that shadowed her birth. She would be loved, cherished, and protected from the truth that could shatter her world.Alanna knelt beside the grave, placing a single white rose on the headstone. Her voice was soft, but there was strength in it

  • After Divorce, The Heiress Decides to Revenge   CHOICES

ALANNAWhen Lucas stepped out of the shadows, gun in hand, my heart clenched with a fear I hadn’t felt in years. The happiness of moments before—Nolan’s proposal, the promises of a future together—seemed to shatter like glass around us. All I could see was Lucas, his face twisted with rage and pain, his eyes filled with a darkness that sent chills down my spine. It was as if everything we’d gone through, every battle we’d fought, was leading up to this moment. But instead of feeling strong, I felt vulnerable, exposed. Lucas was no longer the boy I once knew. He was a man consumed by hatred, and that hatred was directed at me.“You came into my life and took everything,” Lucas snarled, his voice trembling with barely suppressed anger. “You took my family, you took the only love I had ever known, and now you’ve ruined everything!”I tried to find the right words, something that could reach him, something that could make him see reason. But nothing came. All I could do was stand there, f

  • After Divorce, The Heiress Decides to Revenge   WILL YOU?

ALANNA"Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies."Shopping with Angela was just the distraction I needed. The weight of everything—Nolan’s court case, the uncertainty of our future—had been pressing down on me like a storm cloud. But here, in the brightly lit aisles, surrounded by the scent of fresh clothes and the chatter of happy customers, I felt lighter. Angela had a way of making even the most mundane tasks feel like an adventure. We wandered through racks of dresses, holding up options and debating the merits of each one. Angela was in the middle of showing me a deep red dress when she suddenly paused, a small smile playing on her lips.“Jake asked me to move in with him.”The words hung in the air between us, and I felt a surge of happiness for her. “He did? That’s amazing, Angela! How do you feel about it?”Angela looked thoughtful, her fingers brushing the fabric of the dress she was holding. “I don’t know. I mean, I love him, and I can see a future with him.

  • After Divorce, The Heiress Decides to Revenge   Justice

Nolan"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."The courthouse loomed before me, a symbol of the justice I’d been seeking ever since that fateful day. The memories of what Brad had done—of what he’d put my family through—played on a loop in my mind. There was no forgetting the fear in Alanna’s eyes, the sound of the gunshot, the moment when everything nearly ended for us. Today was about more than just a verdict; it was about setting things right, about reclaiming the peace that Brad had stolen from us.As I sat in the courtroom, the weight of the moment settled heavily on my shoulders. This wasn’t just about me. It was about Alanna, about our children, about the future we’d almost lost. I glanced over at Alanna, who was seated beside me. Her hand rested in mine, her grip tight and unyielding. We had come this far together, and we were going to see it through to the end.Mr. Collins, my lawyer, stood and approached the stand where I was seated. He was calm, composed, the

ALANNA“Family isn't just about blood; it's about who stands by you when the world falls apart."As we walked into the restaurant, the warm glow of the lights and the soft hum of conversation made me feel at ease. This place, with its cozy ambiance and inviting atmosphere, was perfect for the first dinner we’d have together as a family—one that finally felt whole. I glanced around at everyone, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. It had been a whirlwind of emotions since discovering the truth about my past, and now, here we were, trying to create something new from the ashes of what once was.Nolan squeezed my hand gently as we approached our table. He could sense my nerves and, as always, knew exactly what I needed—a reminder that I wasn’t alone in this. The kids ran ahead, excited to see the menu and all the possibilities it promised.
