"Seriously, girl. Cheer up!" Diane said to Abigail as they both walked out of the hospital building.

Her wounds were now fully healed and she was beaming from the amount of fame and money the incident had brought her, meanwhile Abigail grew more unhappy day by day.

She had not called Marcus since his name started flying around on social media because, according to Diane, calling him would make her seem 'desperate'. And even though Abigail felt strongly that she should call Marcus, she knew that Diane was right, at least most of the time.

Diane opened the door of her car and smiled lovingly as she hopped in.

Abigail let out a sigh and observed her reflection in the car's side mirror. She had never looked so lean and ugly in her life.
