After more than ten days of rest in her hospital ward, Amelia's wrist wound had mostly healed. The day had come for her to be discharged, and Patrick, Stella, and Dickson all arrived to pick her up.

Inquiring about their plans, Stella asked Dickson, "Now that Amelia is out of the hospital, what's the plan for your marriage?"

Dickson managed a faint smile and replied, "We intend to choose a wedding gown in a few days, but only after Amelia has fully recovered. Then, we'll select an auspicious date for the engagement."

Stella couldn't help but twitch her mouth slightly upon hearing his response. "An engagement? What's the point of getting engaged? Why not skip all that and go straight for the marriage certificate?" she pondered. However, she refrained from expressing these thoughts, knowing that pushing the matter would reflect poorly on her friend.

"Okay, then. You two call the shots. As your elders, we'll only offer our advice when needed. Let's hop in," Stella conceded.
