22: Office Tension

ALAINA

First day at work and I strutted to his office with my heart in my mouth. I had to deal with this, again. The anger roared in my veins and I tried to keep the straightest face as I entered and he was right there by the window, the rays of the son bore onto him and stared into busy roads.

One would think they were looking at a sane man. Alpha Alexander looked like he was written by a female author. Perfect in the middle, rough at the edges. I guess I have always been on the edges.

I stopped by the doorway and couldn't move in for some reason. It was unusual but I just wanted to watch him and possibly catch him doing something questionable that I could hate him for and add to the list of questionable things that he'd done.
