Jovie’s POV
“No, we decided to go with another caterer, but thank you.” I hung up quickly and blocked the number.
“Who was that baby?” Jasper asked.
“Just a caterer I had wanted before but now it’s too late, I have a new and better caterer.”
“Well put the phone down so I can finish.”
I started rolling my hips again, but my mind was no longer on sex with Jasper.
It was on Reno Valenzuela.

What if I just called him back?
No what the hell would I even say?
Sometimes I worried that I wasn't a good person. I really tried to be. I always did everything I was supposed to. I went to college and got my business degree. I worked at a great company with amazing opportunities. I fell in love with an amazing girl. The only problem was that Jovie Wimberly never exactly fell in love with me in return. I did everything to get her to. I was nice to her, I tried to make her happy, I was patient with her. Any other man would have just given up on Jovie years ago. But not me. See I saw the potential in her. I knew she and I could be a power couple. I just had to get her on board. Easier said than done. I had loved her since eighth grade
Reno’s POV I stared at Vigo in shock. This was all Jasper’s fault. How didn’t I see it at first? Vigo liked me and Jovie and had no reason to turn on us. But Jasper gave him one. Jasper only wanted one thing and next week he’d be getting it. I had to save Jovie. “Vigo, I need you to come to New York with me.” I stated. “Afraid I can’t do that, Reno,” He frowned. “That Sterlington fellow will be after me since I got away. I’m the only one who knows what went down. He’ll probably have me killed or something.” “You’re scared of Jasper Sterlington the business man?” Xavier asked. “Aren’t you a gangster?” “That man has co
Jovie’s POVI must have been dreaming. When my eyes fluttered open, I was in my bed. It wasn’t real.“What a weird dream,” I mumbled.“So you still dream about me?”I sat up and there was Reno sitting on the edge of the bed.“What…what are you doing here?” I breathed.“I came back for you baby.” Reno smiled.I hated how amazing he looked. His hair was longer and perfectly messy. He had stubble on his face that I wanted to feel against my own. He still had that mischievous smile that made me want
Reno’s POV“Why would you fuck her instead of just telling her the truth?”I sighed. “I just missed her so much. She looked so sexy standing there, screaming at me. And like I said I haven’t gotten laid in a while.”“Well now what the hell are we supposed to do?” Xavier asked. “I mean we tried to tell her! The wedding is in two days.”“I don’t know man, but we can’t give up. We can’t let Jasper win.”“Maybe I should talk to her?”“Bad idea,” Naomi commented. “Right now we have an element of surprise. Jovie isn’t going to tell Jasper about Reno being b
Jovie’s POV“Jovie! Um…hi!”“What are you doing on my parent’s floor?” I asked, holding my arm out to stop the elevator doors from closing.“My lawyer is on the eighteenth floor and I have pregnancy brain. Got off on the wrong floor so I was getting back on to go down.” Darla explained.“Oh…you look good. Pregnancy agrees with you.”“And engagement seems to agree with you. You um…you’re supposed to get married tomorrow to that Jasper guy right?”“Yeah…how did you know that?” I questioned.“
Reno’s POVOperation: Ruin Jovie’s Wedding was in motion the moment I woke up.First came a shower to wake me the fuck up after staying up all night stressing about whether or not Jovie would take me back. I had to decide that I didn’t care if she didn’t.The goal was to get her away from Jasper. It shouldn’t matter if she wants to be with me or not, as long as she’s not in danger anymore.I put on my tux and looked at my reflection. Though Xavier had been kidding, I thought I did look pretty delicious. Jovie would definitely want to get on her knees for me.Stop it Reno, that’s not what today was about! I had to do something good because it was the right thing
Jovie’s POV “Vigo?!” I asked. “What are you doing at my wedding?” “What I wasn’t on the guest list?” He grinned. “After kidnapping me, no you’re kind of not!” “See that’s what I’m here to talk about. There’s some things you gotta know Bonnie.” I turned to Reno. “Will you stop at nothing to ruin this for me?” “I didn’t even bring him here!” Reno exclaimed. “So who did?” “The big guy in the shades, actually.” Vigo grinned. “Hobbs?” I questioned. “Why?” “You need to hea
Reno's POV I was taken aback. When would Jovie Wimberly actually say what I thought she would? Why was she always throwing me off and catching me off guard? “Oh,” I breathed. “Okay…this is absolutely humiliating.” “Wait, I don’t mean I’ll never marry you, baby.” Jovie said quickly. “It's just…We're in your ex wife's house and I'm wearing a wedding dress after walking out on my groom. I'm all about being impulsive and insane, but…this is even a little too unorthodox for me!” Relief spread throughout my body. I could completely understand where she was coming from. This day had been kind of insane and adding a proposal to it would just be nuts. “I get it,” I whispered. “That a
Well that's! While I'm sure they'll have more adventures, it's offcially a wrap for everyone's favorite Bonnie and Clyde couple! Hope you loved the crazy, crime-filled story of Jovie and Reno! This was the most fun to write and I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Thank you to everyone who read, gave gems and reviewed this story. It's probably my favorite thing I've ever written and it was an honor to share it with you all. Hope you loved it til the end! Thanks again for reading and let me know what you thought! ~Mo Marie xx
Reno’s POV I was freaking out. Jovie was screaming about contractions and everyone was scrambling around, trying to figure out who was sober enough to drive us to the hospital. None of us were. We ended up calling a car to come get us but that meant waiting which was making us all freak out even more. I sat Jovie down in a chair as she winced. “Is she gonna have the baby here?” Vigo asked. “I might faint, I’m not good with bodily fluids!” “I cannot even count the ways that you are not helping!” Jovie snapped. “Sorry! Jeez you really are just like my wife!” “Oh fuck
Reno’s POV I thought I was going to faint. Sitting in front of me was everything I ever wanted. The woman of my dreams, pregnant with my child. Sure I thought it would be a little later before we had kids, but these kinds of things are hard to plan. It’s what I wanted more than anything with Jovie and I was actually getting it. “When did you find out?” Naomi asked. “This morning actually,” Jovie laughed slightly. “I felt like crap, I was late. I just took it for shits and giggles…and then that second line popped up.” “But the bullet,” I said suddenly. “It didn’t hurt anything right?” “It’s all good. Hospi
Jovie’s POVSomething wasn’t right. Why wasn’t I bleeding? Where was the blood? I saw a little hole in my dress, where I swear the bullet entered, but it didn’t penetrate me. Why?I felt around and realized the underwire in my corset had stopped the bullet. But Reno didn’t have that.I crawled over to him.“Reno? Baby, look at me. You’re okay.” I put pressure on his wound as Jasper got closer. “Somebody call the ambulance!”“I don’t feel good, Jov,” Reno choked out.Another shot rang through the air.&
