Jovie's POV
Three Years Ago
Finally I was away from my parents. No more control or stupid balls or Jasper. I don't know why I was dating that guy. He was so damn boring. But it doesn't matter, I don't have to pretend to like him ever again.
I had only been in Los Angeles for a few weeks. I had my own apartment and I was taking community college classes and yet I felt alone. Like no one understood me. So what did I do?
I started stealing again.
LA has all of these cute little antique shops. I love taking things. I easily slipped a little figurine in my bag.
"Saw that."
I looked up and I was met with a pair of stunning green eyes. Surr
Reno's POVJovie slowly walked over to me. I was shaking at this point. I had never been so nervous and excited to sleep with someone. She slipped into the bed and under the covers. I think she was kind of insecure about the bruises he had given her. I was going to make sure she never felt that way again.I took off my boxers and slid under the covers with her. My heart was beating rapidly."I'm scared." I admitted."Me too." She breathed. "You've had my heart from the moment we met, and now I'm giving you my body.”I kissed her slowly. My arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Our naked bodies were pressed against each other. I loved feeling every part of Jovie
Jovie's POV Three years ago "Xavier that feels so fucking good." I moaned. "Are you close?" He breathed as he continued thrusting into me and rubbing my clit furiously. "Almost baby." I groaned. He grinned and went faster until I was screaming. He stopped rubbing and started focusing on getting off himself. He pumped faster and faster, causing us both to moan loudly. "Jo you're so tight." He murmured. "And so beautiful. Fuck I could do this for the rest of my life." "Focus on right now, Xav. Fuck me." I loved having sex with Xavier but sometimes he like to talk during
Reno's POV"My parents?" Jovie asked. "H-how do you know?""He said your parents are on the way. He must work for them." I groaned."Fuck...his name isn't Harvey. It's Luke. God, I knew he looked familiar. He was one of the security trainees right before I went to LA three years ago.""Shit. We have to go, now!" I yelled quickly packing up our stuff."Reno, I'm sorry. I'm so stupid." Jovie shook her head."Babe it's fine.""No, you said you had a bad feeling and I didnt listen.""It's not important right now. We gotta get out of here."Jovi
Jovie's POV"Wait...so my dad is my real dad...and you and him." I held my pounding head. "What the fuck is happening right now?""Let me explain, Jovie." Nala (Mom?!) said."I can't breathe!" I exclaimed.Reno hugged me tightly before putting his hands on my face. "Hey baby, it's okay. You're okay. I mean you're like half an orphan, but you're okay."I couldn't help but smile. How did he always know the right thing to say? "So will they write half a musical about me and my struggles? Give my character red hair.""Little Half Orphan Jovie does have a nice ring to it." Reno smiled. "Now we're going to sit down and let her explain, okay?"I nod
Reno's POVThree Year Earlier"It's your fault I'm not pregnant.""Excuse me? How's that?" I asked."It's clear you don't actually want a baby and my body and uterus can feel your disdain!" Darla cried."Are you sure you're not pregnant right now? You're acting like a lunatic!""You're right. Maybe I'm ovulating right now. Let's have sex Reno." She shoved me on the bed and started kissing me wildly."Darla." I mumbled. "Can we just take a moment here?""Okay what?" She asked impatiently."You're right...I'm not really interested in
Reno's POVThis isn't happening. There's no way this is real. I'm not being stared down by my wife and my girlfriend."So, Reno aren't you going to introduce us?" Darla asked."Darla...this is Jovie she's my…""Girlfriend." Jovie finished for me."Hm. You sure do move fast, don't you Reno darling? But it's my fault. Sorry it took me so long to get here!""What does that mean?" Jovie asked."Well, the plan of course. Get the diamond, sell it, pay off the debt and live happily ever after." Darla smiled.Jovie looked over at
Reno's POVOne Year EarlierI knew I wasn't a good husband. Two years in and I was thoroughly bored with my marriage and my life. The only exciting thing in my life was gambling and that was also ruining it. But I could handle this.I could get all my money back easily and pay off Vigo Ramsey. It would be simple and easy. One good gamble and I would be back in the game.My marriage on the other hand was something I had no idea how to fix at all. I was frustrated because everyone had been right. I never should have married Darla in the first place. We didn't love each other and we were miserable.Maybe divorce was something we should discuss? We're so young and
Reno's POV I couldn't describe the absolute joy in my heart when I heard Darla say it wasn't my baby. I wasn't going to be a father. I didn't have to go back to New York and co parent with a woman I barely even liked. Most of all I wasn't losing Jovie. "It's not mine." I breathed. Jovie smiled before kissing me hard. "It's not yours. But I am." I kissed her again, so hard I fell on top of her. I had no problem making love to her on this hard carpet. "Reno." Jovie whispered. "I'm adventurous, but I will not fuck you in the hall of a hotel next to an ice machine!" "Oh you're not the woman I fell in love with." I teased.
Well that's! While I'm sure they'll have more adventures, it's offcially a wrap for everyone's favorite Bonnie and Clyde couple! Hope you loved the crazy, crime-filled story of Jovie and Reno! This was the most fun to write and I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Thank you to everyone who read, gave gems and reviewed this story. It's probably my favorite thing I've ever written and it was an honor to share it with you all. Hope you loved it til the end! Thanks again for reading and let me know what you thought! ~Mo Marie xx
Reno’s POV I was freaking out. Jovie was screaming about contractions and everyone was scrambling around, trying to figure out who was sober enough to drive us to the hospital. None of us were. We ended up calling a car to come get us but that meant waiting which was making us all freak out even more. I sat Jovie down in a chair as she winced. “Is she gonna have the baby here?” Vigo asked. “I might faint, I’m not good with bodily fluids!” “I cannot even count the ways that you are not helping!” Jovie snapped. “Sorry! Jeez you really are just like my wife!” “Oh fuck
Reno’s POV I thought I was going to faint. Sitting in front of me was everything I ever wanted. The woman of my dreams, pregnant with my child. Sure I thought it would be a little later before we had kids, but these kinds of things are hard to plan. It’s what I wanted more than anything with Jovie and I was actually getting it. “When did you find out?” Naomi asked. “This morning actually,” Jovie laughed slightly. “I felt like crap, I was late. I just took it for shits and giggles…and then that second line popped up.” “But the bullet,” I said suddenly. “It didn’t hurt anything right?” “It’s all good. Hospi
Jovie’s POVSomething wasn’t right. Why wasn’t I bleeding? Where was the blood? I saw a little hole in my dress, where I swear the bullet entered, but it didn’t penetrate me. Why?I felt around and realized the underwire in my corset had stopped the bullet. But Reno didn’t have that.I crawled over to him.“Reno? Baby, look at me. You’re okay.” I put pressure on his wound as Jasper got closer. “Somebody call the ambulance!”“I don’t feel good, Jov,” Reno choked out.Another shot rang through the air.&
Reno's POV I was taken aback. When would Jovie Wimberly actually say what I thought she would? Why was she always throwing me off and catching me off guard? “Oh,” I breathed. “Okay…this is absolutely humiliating.” “Wait, I don’t mean I’ll never marry you, baby.” Jovie said quickly. “It's just…We're in your ex wife's house and I'm wearing a wedding dress after walking out on my groom. I'm all about being impulsive and insane, but…this is even a little too unorthodox for me!” Relief spread throughout my body. I could completely understand where she was coming from. This day had been kind of insane and adding a proposal to it would just be nuts. “I get it,” I whispered. “That a
Jovie’s POV “Vigo?!” I asked. “What are you doing at my wedding?” “What I wasn’t on the guest list?” He grinned. “After kidnapping me, no you’re kind of not!” “See that’s what I’m here to talk about. There’s some things you gotta know Bonnie.” I turned to Reno. “Will you stop at nothing to ruin this for me?” “I didn’t even bring him here!” Reno exclaimed. “So who did?” “The big guy in the shades, actually.” Vigo grinned. “Hobbs?” I questioned. “Why?” “You need to hea
Reno’s POVOperation: Ruin Jovie’s Wedding was in motion the moment I woke up.First came a shower to wake me the fuck up after staying up all night stressing about whether or not Jovie would take me back. I had to decide that I didn’t care if she didn’t.The goal was to get her away from Jasper. It shouldn’t matter if she wants to be with me or not, as long as she’s not in danger anymore.I put on my tux and looked at my reflection. Though Xavier had been kidding, I thought I did look pretty delicious. Jovie would definitely want to get on her knees for me.Stop it Reno, that’s not what today was about! I had to do something good because it was the right thing
Jovie’s POV“Jovie! Um…hi!”“What are you doing on my parent’s floor?” I asked, holding my arm out to stop the elevator doors from closing.“My lawyer is on the eighteenth floor and I have pregnancy brain. Got off on the wrong floor so I was getting back on to go down.” Darla explained.“Oh…you look good. Pregnancy agrees with you.”“And engagement seems to agree with you. You um…you’re supposed to get married tomorrow to that Jasper guy right?”“Yeah…how did you know that?” I questioned.“
Reno’s POV“Why would you fuck her instead of just telling her the truth?”I sighed. “I just missed her so much. She looked so sexy standing there, screaming at me. And like I said I haven’t gotten laid in a while.”“Well now what the hell are we supposed to do?” Xavier asked. “I mean we tried to tell her! The wedding is in two days.”“I don’t know man, but we can’t give up. We can’t let Jasper win.”“Maybe I should talk to her?”“Bad idea,” Naomi commented. “Right now we have an element of surprise. Jovie isn’t going to tell Jasper about Reno being b
