On the other side, the trio team did not share the same good fortune. They had wrestled with their morning task till midday, with the lion's share of the work falling to Harry and Henry. Giada had barely lifted a finger. Harry, having borne the brunt of the work, was now exhausted to the bone, his clothes soaked through, looking as though he had been dredged from the depths of a lake. Seeing him in such a state, Giada could not help but recoil, her distaste for his bedraggled appearance plain on her face.

Harry, already worn down to a nub, felt a simmering resentment at her reaction. "What are you flinching for? If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be in this state, would I?"

Giada found herself speechless. She longed to retort, but considering she was still teamed up with him, and might need his help in the afternoon, she thought better of it.
