Benjamin was sipping his tea, and at Benedict's words, he shot him a glance. "Maybe you're just missing her so much that you're imagining things?"

"Really?" Benedict looked surprised. "Am I hallucinating now? Will I start seeing things in the next second?" As soon as the words left his mouth, he saw Wyneth walk in from the door. He rubbed his eyes. "I think I really am hallucinating; I see Wyneth."

Benjamin retorted. "You old coot, it is Wyneth."

"Is it really Wyneth?" Benedict looked at Wyneth, a delightful surprise washing over his face.

Wyneth gave a small smile, saying, "Grandpa."

"Did I just hear your voice outside the room?" Once Wyneth nodded, Benedict said, "I knew I wasn't mistaken, but your grandfather insisted I was hallucinating."

After saying this, Benedict beckoned Wyneth over. "Come."

Wyneth walked over, sitting down next to the bed. Benedict continued. "I heard from Hayden that you found a job recently, catching an afternoon flight today, right?"
