Chapter 124

“That’s my brother!” Sabina says. “Come.”

Both of them get up and start walking downstairs. Tyrus is a little behind Sabina and as she reaches the bottom step he hears the same voice from her left say, “Now, that’s what I call a surprise.”

And now Tyrus knows whose voice it is. But he won’t believe it unless he sees him because what are the chances that out of all the people who could have saved his neck, it was Sabina?

“Hi, brother!” Sabina says as she walks towards the man and Tyrus steps down the last step, looks to his left, and sees Sabina hugging Evarius.

Tyrus just stands there gaping at the two of them and when Evarius notices him, he says, “Oh, hello Tyrus. That’s two surprises. How come you are here!”
