Brent is sitting on his bed. He has just woken up and now all the memories of last night were falling into place one by one. They are a bit hazy towards the end, but he remembers saying some stupid stuff to Esther. Oh, God! What would she think of him? Was she feeling embarrassed right now? ‘Cause God knows he kinda is. Not because he hadn’t meant it. He had. He likes Esther. He likes her a lot actually and maybe it had taken him to get drunk to loosen up a bit to accept this even himself. But she is a friend. She is only a friend. What if she thinks that he had been inappropriate and what if she doesn't talk to him again? He should apologize to her before she gets any ideas. He quickly gets off the bed and goes to freshen up and shower for the day. After he is ready, he stands in front of his room debating whether he should go to Esther’s room to apologize or wait for her to come downstairs. What if she is already downstairs? Moreover, he has to apologize for being inappropriate, and
“Hey,” Brent says, coming a little closer to Esther, “would you like to go to my lake house with me?”“Today?” Esther asks, looking intrigued.“Yes, right after this.”“Sure. Why though?”“Well, I said last night that I want to remember everything. All of it and all of you. With everything else, I meant that too.”Esther smiles, kisses him lightly, and says, “I’ll go anywhere, as long as it’s with you.”After all of them are done with Breakfast, Brent says, “You take anything you want. We’ll stay the night, and I have to get some things too. How about we meet downstairs in about twenty minutes?”“Sure.”Esther goes upstairs while Brent goes outside. He wants to make this special, and there are a few things he would need for that. After about twenty minutes, he has kept all his stuff in his car, and when he goes back inside, Esther is waiting for him. She walks up to him, and he takes her small bag from her.“I can carry it,” she says, “you know.”“Of course, you can! I just want to be
Esther sucks at Brent’s tongue lightly as his hands move down to her butt, squeezing them. Finally, he stops and gets up, holding her hand. He leads her into the room and Esther sees some fairy lights near the bedpost too and a lot of rose petals scattered on the bed. They stand near the bed, facing each other. The blue eyes stare into the hazel ones, and then they are kissing, more passionately than they had yet. Softly biting the other’s lips.Brent lifts Esther and she wraps her hands and legs around him as they keep kissing. He climbs onto the bed and Esther unwinds herself. They sit on their knees on the bed, facing each other. Esther moves her hands down to his pants and unbuttons them. Then, she removes his t-shirt. Brent bends forward to kiss her neck, and his hands unbutton her jeans. Then he takes off her top and her bra. Esther lies down on the bed as they keep kissing. He moves down to her neck again and then to her breasts. He licks and sucks at her nipples as she moans s
After washing themselves, Esther and Brent are lying cuddled together.“How many times have I told you that you are hot?” Brent asks.“I’d say... not enough.”Brent smiles and says, “You are so hot and beautiful and sexy and intelligent and -“Esther kisses him and then says, “and that’s enough.”“I doubt, but I’ll stop for now.”“You know what,” says Esther, “the last time we came here...”“You mean when we escaped a pack of hostile werewolves.”“Yes, sweet memories. At that time I had thought that this lake house would be such a beautiful place to stay with the one you love. Just the two of you. I liked you then too, but I never thought that I would actually return here with someone I love and that the ‘someone’ would be you. Thanks for doing this.”“Always," Brent says, kissing the top of her head.*When Tyrus wakes up the next morning, it is still dark outside. He looks at his phone and it’s five in the morning. But he doesn’t feel like going back to sleep so he gets up and dress
Tyrus scrambles to get off the ground, but even as he is doing it, he feels himself drifting more and more into unconsciousness. He is almost on the edge of falling asleep, but what he doesn’t understand is why is Carl not hitting him anymore or picking him up to carry him away. Is it just his imagination or can he actually hear some more scuffling, a scream of pain, and some words that he cannot comprehend? He tries to open his eyes wider to see, but it’s no use. He faints. Tyrus opens his eyes slowly and then suddenly remembers why they were closed in the first place. He immediately sits upright. He had expected himself to be lying on the ground in a closed room or bound by chains. But instead, he finds himself in a beautiful room that he does not recognize. All the walls of the room are white except the one behind him which is a dark midnight blue. The bed he is lying in is comfortable with clean white sheets. He touches his jaw, it has healed. If Carl had been successful in kidnap
“That’s my brother!” Sabina says. “Come.” Both of them get up and start walking downstairs. Tyrus is a little behind Sabina and as she reaches the bottom step he hears the same voice from her left say, “Now, that’s what I call a surprise.” And now Tyrus knows whose voice it is. But he won’t believe it unless he sees him because what are the chances that out of all the people who could have saved his neck, it was Sabina? “Hi, brother!” Sabina says as she walks towards the man and Tyrus steps down the last step, looks to his left, and sees Sabina hugging Evarius. Tyrus just stands there gaping at the two of them and when Evarius notices him, he says, “Oh, hello Tyrus. That’s two surprises. How come you are here!”
Evarius is waiting for his sister to return. He loves her, but he is not able to digest her sudden visit. So, when she returns, he gets straight to the point and asks, “Why are you here Sabina?” “To meet my brother, why else? Is that wrong to do?” “No, it is not. But you came here all of a sudden, without informing me. In fact, you didn’t even ask me where I have been living lately. How did you know I am here?” “Well, you told me last week that you are in the town, and I just dug around a bit and thought I would give you a surprise. But I think you are not pleased to see me.” “Don’t be silly, Sabina. You are my little sister, and I love you and I am always pleased to see you. Don’t try to play this emotional card, cause it’s not going to work. You come here and then
The next day, Tyrus is a little nervous to meet Sabina. He is not afraid of her, and although she can snap him into half if she wants, he doesn’t think she would. But the task of getting to know her so that he can find out the real motive of Evarius and how she is involved in it is important and he doesn’t want to mess that up. He had spent the entire day fretting over what he'd say. He had asked Brent, Esther, Adeline, and Nadia for advice and they had all provided it.“Just act natural. Be yourself, and you’ll be fine,” Esther had said.As if ‘just being’ is ever that easy.“If you do ask her anything, be subtle about it. Don’t come at her too obviously. It’s just the second time you are meeting. Take it slow so that you can wi
