Chapter 144

Isabella's POV

I soon fell asleep, after being so tired of asking Xander where he was taking me to, and getting no answer from him.

I slept so peacefully, that I didn't know how long I had slept, but soon I heard Xander's voice calling out to me. I slowly opened my eyes and there he was smiling down at me.

'' We are here,'' he whispered, so I quickly got up to see where he had brought me.

It looked like we were in the middle of nowhere as all I could see were tall trees and a lake. A huge cabin was also there, which oversees the lake, and it all looked beautiful and felt so tranquil.

'' It is beautiful here,'' I whispered and Xander wrapped his arms around me, whispering into my ears.

'' I knew you would like it here.' Xander said and I smiled.

Why don't I show you the cabin?'' Xander said as he took my hand, walking me inside, and. I must say that the outside didn't quite do a lot of justice to the inside, as it was so beautifully decorated.

'' How is this even possible,'' I asked as
