Isabella's POV

Breathing out, I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, and looked for where Mary kept the almond milk.

Searching and searching, I couldn't find it, so I had to settle for chocolate milk instead.

Putting on the stove, I got a pan and poured the milk into it, placing it on the stove, and allowing it to boil.

Lost in thought again, I forgot that I had something on the stove, and when I got myself again, the milk was already boiling excessively.

Rushing over to put the stove off, I tried to pour the hot milk into a cup.

'' You should really let that cool down,'' I suddenly heard Xander's voice, which startled me, where I stood, making me pour the milk that instantly burnt my skin.
