Chapter 90: Coming Out

I'm frozen and mortified. I want those words unsaid, but they can't ever be. The room stills. No one says another word. Quietly, I turn the faucet off, feeling the burn of tears at the back of my throat. Kyra has that smug look on her face because she knows she hit right and touched a sensitive area.

"Kyra, the Alpha's business is not your concern." Drusila admonishes her, jabbing a finger into her shoulder. "Apologise to Marelyn this instant."
