Oh, snap!

Lily stepped into the dining hall with the maid that led her in.

“Ah, Lily, my dear,” William’s mother, the previous Luna, rushed over to greet her, while the maids arranged the large dining table.

She accepted the hug from the older woman, wondering what was going on.

William had only called her and told her to come for dinner. But she truly didn’t know why.

“Hello,” Lily put on her regular innocent look, before asking. “Where’s William?”

“Right here.” She turned around upon hearing his voice. William was dressed casually in his bred button down shirt and slacks. He looked absolutely delectable.

She went up to him, and he wrapped his arm around her waist and pressed a kiss to her lips briefly.

“What’s going on? The dinner table…” she whispered to William.

“Fuck, if I know.” He murmured in her ear, sending pleasant shivers down her spine. Honestly, this man knew how to rile her up. “My mother’s the one who planned this, so it’s going to be a surprise for us both.”
