The man made a sound in his throat that sounded almost like an hum of affirmation unwittingly, and Aiden saw the flash of fear and hesitation in his expression. His face, though bloodied and bruised, was still very easy to read.

This man may not have known much but he did know something. Something about the girls, or who had killed them. And that something would help them figure out whether this was a werewolf’s doing or not.
