Twenty-Three

Zyrielle's POV

My heart beat faster as I came down from the couch in which I lay a few minutes ago. A lot of thoughts circled my mind as I walked right to where Rain was seated.

"Okay... So, where are we going?" Rain probed, impatient to get answers which I also was in a hurry to get.

"You'll have to return tomorrow. It should be done in the morning, you can just relax here for a while if you don't mind. I would have suggested placing her on admissions but I don't know how that might sound." He explained to us.

Rain glanced at me and I nodded, I loved the fact that he was giving me the opportunity to choose whatever I wanted. To others it might seem so small but it was pretty significant to me.

"My wife will tell you what she wants. Babe?" He whispered and I shrugged.

"I don't mind, but I don't want to stay here longer than tomorrow. Is that possible, Doc?" I answered, smiling softly while shooting him a pleading gaze.
