Rain's POV

I sped through the tracks like the hounds of hell were speeding after me. She knew better than to test me, but sometimes, a few people didn't always want to accept their fates.

Lucas and his parents were getting on my nerves and I wanted to teach them a big lesson.

I drove into the compound with a wide smile on my face. She was going to pay for her stupid actions which would backfire on her. I alighted and walked into the compound instantly.

"How shameless can you be?!" I heard yells coming from within the house and I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"I don't understand why you're just hating on me completely.”

“For all I know, I've never done anything remotely hurtful to you regardless of how you want to claim.”
