I don’t know how I knew it but the minute Bernardo walked back into the room after spending hours with Damien, I knew he was hiding something. Something felt off about him and when I asked, he told me it was nothing to worry about. I let him have it because I had plans.

Something Leah had taught me before I was able to shift and we completed our mating bond. I spent the whole day with my siblings. I already knew Harry so he disappeared with his mate a few hours later but Helaine stayed with me.

We saw him and everyone else again at dinner and Helaine teased him about acting like he was a teenager in love to which he responded that she could do the same if she went out more and found her mate. They get along really well and I wanted that too.

The dinner with my siblings and the royal family went pretty well and Leah said it would be even better once the twins and the other brother returned. They were scheduled to be back by the weekend and I was really looking forward to meeting
