“Aren’t you going to wait around and find out who he’s meeting with?”

I asked Bernardo as our car zoomed away. I honestly thought we were going to drive away from his house and then wait around to find out who would come to see him. Bernardo turned to me and shook his head.

“Why not? This is the easy way to find out.”

I let out. He was throwing a good opportunity away.

“Damien got it covered. We will find out who came to visit him. The bugs you planted are video records. All angles you place them will give us a view of each person that goes into that place. We don’t have to wait in his house.”

He explained. I nodded in understanding and stayed quiet as he called Damien and told him we had done as he asked. When his call was done, he turned to me and smiled.

“You did well there. You left no doubts in his mind.”

“How did you know he would go with you to the restroom and why did he do it anyway?”
