"Amanah, you can't still be embarrassed," Miall said as I slurped my second drink.

"I said I don't know you," I said as I stared ahead at the full blown party.

When Miall and I got out of our hotel room, our neighbour thought it would be nice to remind us of how loud we were and how they heard everything, and I mean everything and then proceeded to invite us out to this party.

"Baby, come on," he pulled me by my hips and pressed his face on my neck. "The way you're drinking that, I'd rather it be me," he whispered in my ear and I gasped as I looked at him.

"Miall, we're in front of people!"

"They didn't hear a thing over this loud music," he said as he kissed my temple.

"Perhaps you're forgetting they're not human but are a part of your species and others, you can hear anything from quite far," I said and he shrugged. "You're spoilt."
