TCG: Chapter 10

"Amanah, you can't still be embarrassed," Miall said as I slurped my second drink.

"I said I don't know you," I gritted as I stared at the full-blown party.

When Miall and I left our hotel room, our neighbour thought it would be nice to remind us of how loud we were and how they heard everything. I meant everything and then proceeded to invite us out to this party.

"Baby, come on," he pulled me by my hips and pressed his face on my neck. "The way you're drinking that, I'd rather it be me," he whispered in my ear, and I gasped as I looked at him.

"Miall, we're in front of people!"

"They didn't hear a thing over this loud music," he kissed my temple.

"Perhaps you're forgetting they're not human but are a part of your species and others; you can hear anything from quite far away," I said, and he shrugged. "You're spoilt."

"And I love you for that," he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Now stop drinking so much. I don't want you passed out tonight...well, I do, but I want to be
