ROMAN

When I woke up, it was already past ten.

The sun was already high in the sky and it was shining brightly into the room. Sweat was dripping down my face and I wondered who the hell opened the window.

Eden was still sleeping on my arm and maybe it was because of the heat I was already feeling that I didn't know something was wrong.

I slowly removed my hand from under her and kissed her cheek.

Without wasting another time, I took a shower and took a very cold bath. However, I closed the window and brought down the curtain so the sun won't turn Eden into white chocolate.

Letting the water wash away the heat was a form of therapy in its own way. I was truly very tired and being beside Eden helped me sleep better.

Trying to catch up on most of the things I missed at the company was taking my night time.

I came out of the shower and Eden still hadn't woken up despite all the noise I made.
